Since moving back to Jorvik, becoming a college freshman at Castleview Estate University, and gaining an internship with the Jorvik Rangers, life has been all kinds of hectic.

I’m currently staying at Redwood Point, with my 3 horses Val, Hailey, and Zion. Along with that, I get to work with some horses here at Redwood, as pictured.

I spent my time back home in Australia, working with my mare Hailey in eventing. She’s gone under beautiful training and I can’t wait to start doing competitions with her on the side.

Val has been here in Jorvik with my grandmother, as a lesson pony. Since he’s getting older we’re slowing down on competitions and such.

Zion, Val’s son, is going to be my new main show jumper. We’re still working on a few things together as he’s only 4, but I can’t wait to show you guys what he has in store. :)

Rio is finally back with me and is settling into Velvet Academy. Finally got our dorms and classes together, and even successfully finished the first week. 🤍

(cassie’s pov)

I sighed as I got comfortable on the hay bale beside my stallion, Rio. Looking down, in my hands was one of the books I had to read for my Equine Studies class.

"I really do not like reading that much." I said to Rio as if he could respond, a part of me felt like he did with the way he put his head down after I finished my sentence.

All this moving stuff is sort of difficult. I'm glad I get to see my childhood friends again, but I also miss everyone at Evergreen. Especially Jackson, but he hasn't even texted me since I left.

I just sighed again and began to read. Luckily I get to help with lessons tomorrow.

Val and I’s first show together and definitely not the last. (are we eating the girls up…? ☺️)

(cassie’s pov)

Avery, Stella, and I had been waiting for my name to be called and i was randomly thinking..

“so what WERE y’all doing up so late?” I looked down at Avery

“dude we weren’t do anything” She replied as she rolled her eyes. Not like I could see from on top of Val though.

then I heard Stella whisper. “Yeah rig-“

“Next up, Cassie North riding L’amour De Ma Vie”

hiii chat, i now have a cutesie little astrovegian!!!!

(cassies pov)

“So…. When will you be back?”
I heard the voice of Via, my friend Vernon’s little sister ask me over the phone.

“Mmm, I may not come back if you keep asking..” I said as I smiled while waiting for her reaction.

“What!? No! You have to come home, I’m getting sick of being with Vernon all the time!-“ Then I heard another voice in the back: “Hey!”

I laughed a little then answered her, “I’m just playing, Via. Of course, I’m coming back. I’ll see you guys a little later in the week though, we’re dropping off my horses first then ill be there as soon as we get our dorms.”

Then there was a long silence.

“So when will you be here..?” I heard Vernon ask

“Okay now I’m gonna hang up.”

😕

(cassies pov)

i sat down in the field, recalling the phone calls i had with my mom and jackson all in one night.

| flashback ⏪ |

“what do you mean im leaving?” i asked my mom. we hadnt had the best relationship, hence why i was down in silverglade instead of back home.

“i would like you to attend school back down here in jarlaheim. i already enrolled you so theres no excuses now.”

“are yo-“ the sound of a small ‘end call’ tone took me by surprise.

i looked back down towards my contacts, choosing to call the only person i felt i could talk to; jackson.

“jackson” i said quietly over the phone.

“im leaving” i said as i felt my throat getting tighter.

“where are you going?” he asked.

“back home, to jarlaheim.”

“so, what are we gonna do?” he asked “are you saying you want to break up?”

“do you want to?” i asked “if we do, you’ll still be my best friend.” i said quietly.

i sighed as i saw blu, hiding herself under the shade of a tree.

even blu seemed to be upset with me.

my fav 💟 (besides blu……..)

(cassie’s pov)

“can you chill please?” jackson said as we walked, a bit of sas in his tone.

“ok pretty princess..” i replied as i rolled my eyes.

he looked down at my boots, a string untied. i had just came back from one of the beach trail rides, very anxious after my fall on blu.

he stopped me, going to tie the loose strings.

“seriously, after that fall you’ve been so anxious-” he sighed. “you need to chill, thats why we’re here. we still need to give rosemary her present as well.” he said as he looked up at me.

“right?”

“right..”
