HOMEMADE DOT CAKE REVIEW 🧁🍰 #dotcake #nz by @ckeatssssss
Jarrod and I did first table at 269 Parnell got some yummy tacos, mum made this delicious fresh fish dish, had Aperols at @bonpinard delicious!! And the long weekend we spent eating some amazing home cooked meals on rakino island. All the girls outdid themselves. Our team made gyros with homemade flat breads and kiwi onion dip hands down is the BEST dip of all time. If you don’t agree we can’t be friends 🙂‍↕️ yummmmm!!!! by @ckeatssssss

The best dusty work lunch EVER 🙏 @lotties.nz just opened up in Faradays and it was superb! The potato caviar rostis was the perfect bite, I chose the burger (apparently famous) and we had a few sides to share. My favourite side was the mac and cheese, it was a bloody good one. The aesthetic of the restaurant was insane, the chairs were so cool and the silver salt and pepper shakers sooo cute!! We of course finished with dessert, I chose the brandy snap. It was also the perfect bite. It was filled with vanilla bean cream, cherry jam and chocolate. DELISH. 🤌🏽🤌🏽 Thanks MD for lunch by @ckeatssssss
Ngl it looks like I don’t eat vegetables or anything healthy but I promise I do!! Sunday night feast with my flat mates is my new favorite thing. Bella is insane at making pasta 🍝 so we have made it a continuous time. I whipped up a sticky date pudding and really impressed myself! The rest is a series of markers, food court, @yomibowlsnz , new balance event (I loved the salmon pancakes) and a fun sandwich placed called @cazador_deli 🥪 slay week of eating!! 🧘🏼‍♀️ by @ckeatssssss
@cassia_auckland WOW!!!!! I’ve been so excited to try this place and here we are. It is modern Indian cuisine and every dish had so much flavour!! My 3 standout dishes were the goat cheese tart, sausage rolls and the lamb chops but everything exceeded expectations 🥘 by @ckeatssssss
This is a smaller food post than usual 😢 I need to save money but it is so hard when I love food. Unlocked a new burger joint @ralphs_eatery idk how I haven’t tried this earlier?!? They do a deal which is a beer, fries and burger for $25 sooo good!! And the wings were delicious. @myfriedchicken.nz cheese balls!!! YUM!! Had this interesting cheese coating on them. Since cheese is my favorite thing this was a must to try. Reunited with our fav cheese scones in whanga and margs from the smoky pallet. Much needed after doing a run. Sunday arvo Aperols and nibbles with the fam 🩷 by @ckeatssssss
Ateeeee gooood this weekend!! 🫨🫨 @holiday.auckland new cafe unlocked. We ran 4kms to get there so well deserved treat. @yomibowlsnz NEW FAV!!!!! Better than shibbys sorry not sorry and reminds me of Mimi’s in nyc. Nostalgic! Tried @269_parnell such a vibe. We got the Roe fish Sammy. I wanted to try for awhile and the first few bites were great and the concept of it was yum but for $27 not sure 😭 we also had a crispy lamb shawarma but Lebanese grocer definitely is better. The vibes were so cute though, I want to go back in summer and have a drink in the sun. FREE tacos from @theluckytaco_nz the best!! Like soooo yummy!!! Had chippies and wine with mum @nomad.nz such a cute spot! @fishsmith_hernebay dinner and drinks at the elbow room. Such a hack, you can order from fish smith and they will bring it to you at the bar while you have drinks. And of course my new favourite thing homemade bagels eeeee so good!! ☺️ by @ckeatssssss
Omg I made homemade bagels!! 🥯🫨 never done this in my life but my flatties love making bread and bagels so I tried and holy outdone myself!!! by @ckeatssssss
Come with us to @bodarestaurant !! @ckeatssssss , @tanakanyahwa , and I went to BODA on Tuesday evening and it was 🤌🏽 My top three dishes of the evening were (in no particular order): the pork hock sliders, the Korean fried chicken, and the charred cabbage. The four C’s: Char: 8/10 The chefs clearly know their craft… flavours were perfect and texture was great. Culture: 6/10 The food was great, the views were amazing, but the atmosphere was neither here nor there. Coin: 6/10 We did @firsttable so felt like a total steal (10/10 with it). Otherwise, the portion size to pricing ratio is leaning a little more to fine dining. Crave: 6/10 Good pick for date night or an elevated Asian fusion spot even though it’s not on my immediate re-visit list. Overall: 6.5/10 #aucklandeats #aucklandfoodie #aucklandfood #restaurantsauckland #aucklandcbdeats by @ckeatssssss
Girls night with @mollydolan1 🩷 I am obsessed with @ragtag_nz !!!! This dinner was perfection. Of course started with Aperols in the sun and their boujee take on kiwi dip. Then had their prawn tostadas, crunchy on the outside soft in the inside. But the star of the show was the duck tacos and the sticky date pudding. I would happily go back and just get those two dishes. Idk what they do to the duck tacos to make them so delicious. So soft, fresh and crispy! But then omg the dessert I’ve been wanting to try this for so long 🫨 IT WAS INSANE. Like how does something like so perfect. I have no words. by @ckeatssssss
