🚨 The way your content gets discovered online is changing.

If you have a website, you need to know what happened with Cloudflare on September 15.

But what is Cloudflare? 👇

Cloudflare is a major internet infrastructure and security company that helps websites manage traffic, security, and the bots that crawl their sites.

On September 15, Cloudflare introduced new controls that distinguish between three types of bots:
🔎 Search — crawlers that index content so it can appear in search results
🤖 Training — crawlers collecting content to train or fine-tune AI models
⚡ Agent — AI agents accessing websites to perform tasks on a user’s behalf

For new domains, Search remains allowed by default, while Training and Agent activity can be blocked on pages with ads.

Cloudflare also changed how mixed-use crawlers (bots that perform both search and AI training) are handled.

So why does this matter?

Because being discoverable online is no longer just about traditional SEO.

As search moves toward AI-powered answers, businesses need to think about how their content is found, understood, and cited by AI systems—not just how it ranks on Google.

That’s where SEO + AEO + GEO become increasingly important.

Claude Impact Lab at @eventsdotcom was a success! Teams came together to build real solutions to local challenges by working on projects to present.

The best part, you didn’t need to be a developer or have technical experience. @claudeai did a lot of the heavy lifting, while people brought the ideas, creativity, questions, and different perspectives to the table.

A really cool reminder that the future of AI isn’t just about technology, it’s about what we build with it and who gets to be part of the building.🚀 Excited for more events!
