A year ago, I never would’ve imagined that running a 5K would be something I’d choose to do — let alone something I’d have this much fun doing. 🥹

First 5K finished in 33:34, surrounded by some pretty great people. Feeling strong, grateful, and really freaking proud. The turtle run club’s first race is in the books!

Letting go of self-doubt, 50 lbs, and the excuses that kept me in a rut.

A year of a new job I love, meaningful time with family and friends (old and new), and falling hard for Columbus.

Growth lives outside the comfort zone—and I’m ready for whatever 2026 brings ✨ taken in Columbus, Ohio by @ckillen

Life update! I’m excited to announce that I’ve accepted a job as an Assistant Professor at The Ohio State University College of Optometry. Growth doesn’t happen in your comfort zone and I can’t wait to see what this next chapter brings. I’ll forever be grateful for my colleagues, students, and patients at The Pennsylvania College of Optometry. Philly will always be home but time for a new adventure. ❤️ taken in The Ohio State University College of Optometry by @ckillen
