POSTS STORIES REELS

Two years ago I retired from Team USA. What started as an Olympic karate journey became so much more — pushing the boundaries as a 40+ year old athlete, mom, CEO.

I trained hard and smart, meticulous about my outputs, inputs, mindset, and recovery, learning and refining methods with each step.

I had the support of a great team around me, including and most importantly my family — the very thing that makes life meaningful. There aren’t words for the amount of sacrifices and teamwork that went into unretiring for six years to empower the pursuit of my childhood dreams.

Together we competed against people more than half my age. When my ACL tore and I was absolutely gutted, we came back nine months post-op to win bronze at Nationals and qualify for Team USA. We forged our way, weathered unforeseeable storms, trained with the best athletes and coaches around the world, and competed at the highest level.

After many twists and turns, and a global pandemic, I stepped off the mat at the World Games, healthy and surrounded by family & friends. Crazy how two years can feel like a lifetime ago and yesterday, all at the same time.

Sometimes I still can’t believe what we accomplished together. I could not have done this without my faith, family, friends, therapists, and team. Thank you for being part of this journey. I appreciate each of you more than you know and hold onto all the memories and moments we created together. 🙏🏼♥️

Happy 21st birthday Gabe!! To all the adventures so far and all those that are ahead! It’s been the honor and privilege of my life to be your mom and watch you grow into the man that you are. Joyful, adventurous, laid-back, resilient, passionate, grounded, courageous and kind, loving and strong. So proud of you. Love you more than words can express, especially in a post. 😘🎉♥️ by @cklinepeter

Refocus. Inspired by nature’s resilience and brilliance. And the morning run I resisted but did anyway. ✨ by @cklinepeter

August was maybe the busiest month I’ve ever had and in all the right ways – it started off visiting Gabe in Houston and launching Orca Talent Partners!! (More on that later.) And ended with a last-minute trip to Charleston to be with family. 💕 From quality time with my boys and getting them off to school, to standing up a company, client work, travel, and more, I will be ready for a slower pace at some point. 😅 But for now, pressing forward, enjoying the momentum and the last of summer. ☀️

Grateful for a full season and the kind of light that makes you stop and take it all in. by @cklinepeter
