We're excited to see another event from @nlfb_festival on September 19!

Hawksley Workman, Selena Ryder and more are playing in the New Sudbury Centre parking lot, Drive-In Style. Bring your family, some popcorn and catch these great Canadian artists.

Escape everything with Northern Lights on September 19. It's low cost and you'll never have an NLFB festival like this again! taken in Sudbury, Ontario by @cklu967fm

It is with a heavy heart that we start our broadcast day today in reporting the passing of our friend and longtime DJ Alex Mogensen.

Alex was an all-around champion of CKLU, and a master of the wacky, bizarro and rugged radio, that Frank Zappa would have been proud of every Wednesday night on “Off the Cuff." Your sarcasm, wit, big heart and purely mischievous smile will be deeply missed. His undying passion for CKLU and it's growth is impossible to replace.

Condolences from all of us here at CKLU to your family and friends during this difficult time. taken in Sudbury, Ontario by @cklu967fm

We need all @laurentianu students to see this!

Make @cklu967fm a mandatory student fee, and keep the student perspective alive.

This past November, the Court quashed the Student Choice Initiative which has left a lot of uncertainty on how we should proceed with fees moving forward. As a student led organization we believe in the importance of student consultation which is why we are asking YOU which optional student fees they would like to see added as mandatory through a referendum.

The referendum will be taking place starting tomorrow at 9am and voting will be open until 4pm this Friday. Voting will be done online through MyLaurentian.

Make sure to check your Laurentian email tomorrow for more information and to have your voice heard! taken in City of Greater Sudbury by @cklu967fm

Just to shed a little light on the current situation.
Trusted sites and local updates are the best way to stay safe out there. The World Health Organization has been providing updates regularly.
