Happy 100 Years to The Walt Disney Company! 6 years later, I still can’t believe I get to work for this company. We have old home videos of little me dancing around the house to “Friend Like Me”, opening Toy Story toys as a toddler, and showing off my Star Wars Lego. The toys and movies have been a staple for me for as long as I can remember and growing up in Oregon/Washington it never seemed like this unattainable place that people could actually work at. One things I’ve learned here at Disney is that it means something different to everyone, especially if you have never been to the parks. But the fact that Walt Disney had an idea and turned it into so many different things is unbelievable. Even before working here I was getting opportunities to work on projects for Disney, was able to do that Uniqlo shirt, and I was always being inspired by Disney properties. This account all started because I wanted to get better at illustration, so I fully leaned into Disney for inspiration for fundamentals of how to create my own work. I’ve been able to work on crazy projects, create friendships, launch new products and it’s all for a place I never thought would be possible to work for! It’s unreal that I get to sit here and make a post from the lot before the celebration begins! I got to create Disney Movie Insider’s Key for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 and this movie is so freaking perfect! I’ve seen it in theaters twice already and it’s safe to say the Guardians movie are my favorite trilogy of the MCU! The music, characters, storytelling, emotion, visuals, and villains are incredible. @jamesgunn created the perfect ending for the Guardians of the Frickin Galaxy! . . . . . . #art #artoninstagram #artist #illustrator #design #illustration #artwork #digitalart #graphicdesign #disneyfanart #marvelfanart #guardiansofthegalaxy #guardiansofthegalaxyvol3 #jamesgunn #rocketraccoon #iamgroot #groot #wearegroot #starlord #marvelfanart #mcufanart #mcu by @cks.design

A bunch of tiny Mickeys inspired by Sanrio! Which is your favorite one? I love doing the #quickiemickey challenge so I can force myself to try out a new illustration style every time and actually post again @jmaruyama by @cks.design

You have all seen my work on this character for @ululanishawaiianshaveice over the years, but I’m excited to announce ‘Kealoha’ as the official mascot name! In addition to that, I’ve created a new mascot title logo and helped with releasing new plushies & pins! Kealoha: The Loved One, The Love, My Beloved. All similar translations of the name that carry a lot of meaning for myself and my family, so I don’t take it lightly to be using it as the fitting name for the main character as well! On top of my own connection, Auntie Ulu and Uncle David have worked so hard over the years to perfect their main shave ice product, so this name and the merchandise is really just a reflection of all the love and care that has gone into the entire Ululani’s experiencd! This has been one of my favorite things to help bring to life over the years from digital and physical stickers, key chains, magnets, shirts, and totes; but adding these two products were always in the top hopes for me! #ululanishawaiianshaveice #characterdesign #arttoy #collectibletoys by @cks.design

What do we think about an Almost Familiar Friends tote bag? This bag was such a pain to make, but I love how it came out! Cricut+Iron On on a Uniqlo bag!
