🇭🇹Happy Haitian Flag Day🇭🇹 May 18th The Haitian Flag was adopted! 🇭🇹
Revolutionary leader Jean-Jacques Dessalines tore the white center from the French tricolor to reject French rule. His goddaughter, Catherine Flon, sewed the remaining blue and red bands together to symbolize the union of Black and mixed-race citizens.

The central emblem— featuring a royal palm tree topped by the Cap of Liberty and surrounded by weapons and drums—was officially integrated to symbolize freedom, sovereignty, and defense.

Today we celebrate our Flag with pride 🇭🇹

📍Nicaragua 🇳🇮 I was able to cross Volcano Boarding off of my bucket list today! 🥰 We Sand Boarded down an ACTIVE VOLCANO! Yes I said ACTIVE! It was sooo much fun! The hike to the top of the Volcano wasn’t that much fun but we made it! 😂 I brought my cousins with me and they were definitely with the shits!!! Love them!!

When in Rome…
Took a solo trip to 📍Rome, Italy 🇮🇹 to visit 1 of 7 of the wonders of the world. The Colosseum. I told myself I have to visit at least 1 world wonder per year until I’ve seen all 7. This year since I was going to be in Europe for the Summer I picked the Colosseum. Rome was beautiful ❤️
