We are so excited to share with you all the new things that have been happening this year while we’ve been squirrelled away in the studio, and what an epic line up of bands to enjoy it with!

Today marks 5 years since we released our debut album, ‘Daydream’. To celebrate the occasion, we have commissioned a one-off pressing of 100 copies on translucent yellow vinyl via our friends at @landmine_recordsnz !
Pre-orders are available right now.
If you want to book yourself one of these exclusive pressings, head to our website (www.claemus.com) and get yourself a copy. Worldwide shipping available.

Thank you, for all your support of us over the last few years - it’s hard to believe Daydream is having its 5th birthday (they grow up so fast). To say we are excited to finally have this album finally pressed to wax, is a massive understatement.

Wow! Friday night was an absolute blast! So many thanks to everyone who came and packed out Valhalla for the Prototype release show - how insanely good are @makedarknz @alliseek_nz and @pulldownthesun - we really made a rod for our own backs having to get on stage after that lot! It is truly impressive how world class our fellow locals are!

Extra thanks must go out to @ooshproductions for his epic work on lighting, Zane for manning the faders, @walnutwednesday for her work at the merch desk, @otischamberlain_ for all his bootiful artwork, @jechtography and @aidanatwellington for their glorious photos and Ben and his excellent team at @valhalla.nz for always being the bestest hosts.

We’re going back to the studio to finish the last of the album so, we’ll see you all soon. (“Big things coming, watch this space”)

We are thrilled to announce that this wee trio has become a quartet once more! Our homie, Dylan Sweetensen, has joined Claemus, wrestling the bass duties away from our good mate, ‘Backing Track’. For the uninitiated, Dylan was the vocalist for our consensus ‘best NZ band to do it’ metalcore act, Of Blackest Oceans, as well as guitarist for The Dauntless. Dyls has been the perfect addition to our band-family, and we are so looking forward to hitting the stage with him.
Make him feel welcome!
