There’s nothing wrong with enjoying all the fun beauty things!!

I love doing my hair, throwing on a tan, painting my nails, having fun with makeup. I believe it is good to take care of yourself and do the little things that feel life self care.

Just as long as we recognize none of those things can be the foundation of our confidence, joy, and happiness. You are beautiful without it all.

All of these things are so so fleeting but God is consistent. He needs to be our source and our foundation. Then all of the fun beauty things can just be a sweet addition we get to enjoy and be creative with.

“Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the LORD is to be praised.” Proverbs 31:30 NIV
