POSTS STORIES REELS

Just thought it was time for a little refresh! New name but same old me! My husband said that Stayingalivepast55 made me sound like I was on my last legs 😂
Thank you all for your great suggestions at the beginning of the year, so many to choose from and lots were already taken but one of you suggested this one, so thank you 🙏🏻

So please if you don’t recognise my new name just give me a quick check before you delete me! 😂
And obviously any new followers are very welcome here too!

Have a fabulous Sunday lovelies and just to let you know again that I am now

I just thought I would share a little bit about my Instagram journey if you have nothing to do and a minute to spare 😉

So this is the tshirt that started my journey and is how I chose my name for it! This is an original Katherine Hamnett silk Tshirt from @brownsfashion in South Molton street London ( bought for £30) and It’s now 40 years old!!!

I first started instagram in lockdown, my daughter suggested it even though I’d never even seen Instagram, she took a few snaps and posted them! I couldn’t believe that lovely ladies from all over the world wanted to follow me! I didn’t have a clue what I was doing and still don’t to this day! I soon had 1000s of followers and so quickly too and really enjoyed the lovely community that Instagram offered. (Remember Saturday nights, dressing up to sit in the lounge, take a picture and pretend we were out! 😂)

After lockdown life changed! I stopped posting and deleted my account, fast forward a few years and I decided to start posting again when I retired, and even though I had to start all over again it felt like a good time to do it(Although a lot of you gorgeous ladies have stuck with me from the beginning and I really appreciate you) 🙏🏻

Life on instagram has changed so much now and although it’s still fun it’s a lot more serious, it’s all about the numbers now but I’m just happy posting no matter what 💋

I just wanted to thank you all really for following me and taking time out to send all your lovely comments , I do really appreciate everyone one of you and I also wanted to thank Jonny Depp and Elon musk for persistently following too even when I know you must be soo busy! 😂even Elons mum now too! I’m very blessed! 😂

I just want to say well done too if you made it to the end of this! Thanks for sticking with it!

Have a fabulous day and just for fun I put a picture at the end of me in 1985 too if you have a moment to scroll to the end!
Have a fabulous day lovelies mwahh 💋

These pictures are taken at a little hut called The Heuers hut which was a look out for the fisherman hundreds of years ago, a man called the Huer would look for the oil on the surface of the water which meant the pilchards were coming in and would then alert the fishermen by shouting to them, directing them to the area with sticks!
How times have changed!
I’m sure he wouldn’t have been wearing a dress from Zara 😂💋( bag @sofia.and.spritz

The number-one rule for rocking a maxi length when you’re petite? Ignore the rules!
Who said petites can’t do maxi lengths, even the ones from Zara! Although I’m sure it’s probably knee length on the model! 😂
Still basking in the golden hour sunlight!
Have a fabulous week lovelies! 💋
