the breakdown 👇🏻

currently hitting 4 days in the gym and this is my exact structure aka the blueprint + KEYS to every workout I hit

if you hit the gym consistently but don’t look like it - you’re gonna wanna save this!

push day: shoulders/triceps/chest “pushing” muscle groups; I’m working core for a good 10-15 minutes as well 3-5 exercises, 2-3 sets each usually set up as a circuit)

lower body I: focused more on quads - including some functional work and still healing this Achilles

pull day: back/biceps “pulling” muscle groups; also hitting some core here!

lower body II: glutes/hamstring focused

🔑 EVERY session starts with a warm up followed by my first 1-2 exercises being COMPOUNDS

these are your squats, presses, rows, deadlifts - BIG, multi-joint movements that are going to be the most taxing as you fatigue through the rest of the set

🔑 for a MAJORITY of my exercises, I’m finishing my sets 1-2 reps shy of FAILURE! this is crucial for stimulating muscle growth and it means when you end your set, you do so without a SHRED out doubt you could have pushed out more than 1-2 reps before you FAIL

🔑 3-5 accessory movements worked in - machine work, lunges, curls, raises etc!

this is the blueprint upon which allll of my workouts are built - just rotating through which exercises are performed

I’m currently backed way off from failure in pretty much all of my upper body strength work but I’m still working to stimulate and maintain the muscle I have 😌

building shape + muscle with a solid split + intensity means…

💡 you can eat more food (in maintenance or when losing fat)
💡 better recovery
💡 better energy
💡 better metabolic flexibility
💡 let’s face it you feel 🔥 mentally and physically

started my honeymoon prep phase at 138 lbs and I’m planning to hang around there give or take - full update coming soon 😈

I’ve been working on my physique since 2012…

You could say I’ve had some successful cuts…
And some total flops.

Last January (2025) I knew it would likely be the year I got engaged so I used that to build my inner fire back up and promised I would get it the f— together.

I learned from past mistakes and now you can too 😈

Here’s what I AVOIDED this time around with my cut:

1️⃣ Flying by the seat of my pants with my macros.

I do not stand in my kitchen each time it’s time to eat like, “okay let’s see what my macros are!”

That is an absolute fool’s errand.

My meals are planned in advance, hit my macro goals within 10P/10C/5F, & are satisfying, simple and easy to repeat.

The key here IS and always will be planning ahead.

Those of you who resist this will struggle hard in comparison to those who embrace it.

2️⃣ STARTING TOO LATE.

I started my cut in April - 1 year before.

Once we were engaged in May we decided we’d get married within a year, so I stayed in my cut until I got about 13-15 lbs down and then took a long enough break before a lead-up cut which I knew would be more of a polish.

Too many women wait until they’re under max pressure to act.

3️⃣ Letting ChatGPT be my coach 💀

Okay to be fair, I never did this.

I can’t relate to wanting anything other than a real human, who has MORE/BETTER experience than me, at achieving the thing I want, to guide me and keep me in line.

That’s exactly what I’ve had this whole time 🙏🏻

4️⃣ Doing TOO MUCH cardio

I achieved my physique over TIME by lifting heavy weights from 3-5 days every week.
On vacation, while insanely busy, etc.

I train within 2-4 reps shy of failure in most exercises. I kept this up during my deficit.

Cardio has a role… but I wanted to look SNATCHED!

Too much cardio can burn you out quick.

5️⃣ Filling in my macros with processed foods

While eating in a calorie deficit you have a “leaner” budget of food.

To keep your metabolism burning you need a good balance of whole vs processed foods. I eat 80-90% whole nutrient dense foods. The rest is fair game!

I hope this helps 🤠 drop your questions below!! taken in Austin, Texas by @claireashiver

am I the only one who feels this way?

the women with killer physiques, doing BIG things with their lives —

…are not just the “motivated” ones.

they’re the ones who hit ACTUAL rock bottom. sometimes more than once.

early in my fitness journey, I hit rock bottom more than once before I finally made a change.

it often looked like a 4-5 day stretch of eating wicked clean

followed by a binge, a 3 day bender and a monster hangover

but then it was back to the gym and chicken quinoa salads 💀

and back to convincing myself I was working hard enough to become the version of myself I was honestly desperate to be

early on one of my bigger rock bottom moments was in December 2018, alone in a dark room, deathly hungover after a night of making a fool of myself

feeling like a stranger in my body

hating every picture I saw of myself the night before

and honestly looking back on the two years before that of workouts, nutrition, trying to work through a toxic relationship… feeling like it was a waste

it took me hitting bottom to realize no one was coming to save me

no one was coming to do the things I needed to do, change the patterns I needed to change or build the habits I needed to build

it was never “being motivated enough” that was going to get me to change

it was being in enough pain, honestly.

the same thing happened with my hormone crash in 2022, burning out on scaling a business in 2023 I did not actually want to scale…

all that’s to say is I’ve never been to rock bottom and not made the change I needed to.

it doesn’t take motivation alone…

discipline can be built - but for me, I’ve fueled my discipline to build my life around chasing what I want and getting far AF away from what I don’t. 🤷🏻‍♀️

so before you look at someone and assume she’s just more motivated or disciplined than you —

ask yourself what rock bottom she had to hit to become her.

have you made a big change in your life that your proud of today after hitting rock bottom? 👀 by @claireashiver

October marks 1 year since I got a nudge to lean into content!

I did NOT start the last year thinking I’d make much of anything…

I didn’t even set an income goal 🤷🏻‍♀️

I just wanted to see if I could do it 👀

but, I’m very proud of myself and excited to see what else will come my way ❤️🌟🍒

this time last year, I was thinking about getting more into paid content, & very serendipitously got linked up to a recurring UGC deal via a friend - before I even knew wtf UGC was 🤷🏻‍♀️

I immediately knew I could be onto something fun and new for me!

I’ve been posting on this account for over a decade now, and every client I’ve worked with has found me either here or through a friend.

I’ve always loved sharing my journey and feel a real purpose in inspiring others!

I grew up in theater, was always very artsy, and was fascinated by the psychology of marketing all through college 🧠

This year has given me a way to be a beginner at something and get a creative itch scratch I didn’t know I was craving 🎨

In Feb I signed up for @sydneymohni course and worked with @jessicaholland_creates on my UGC approach & learned everything I could about editing, filming, pitching and negotiating!

After the wedding, I pitched different types of partnerships behind UGC like sponsored feed post, whitelisting opportunities etc!

I hit my highest month so far in July and was absolutely loving the process 🙏🏻

But, the more I’ve leaned in the more I’ve also had to check my ego

Getting rejected, low balled, or fully ghosted is HARD

Comparing yourself to other creators on this app is also a one way ticket to self sabotage 🫡

My #1 goal is to be an authentic creator, inspire, motivate (and entertain!!) as many women as I can while staying true to myself and anyone following along 🌟

For any of my content opportunities I’ve made a commitment to 1. Not turn this page into an ad mill and only post sponsored content!

and 2. only sign on to promote brands, services & products I genuinely stand behind & use 🥰

Very grateful for this path that God opened up for me - even for the ways it has challenged me.

exactly what I did 👇🏻

1 year ago I started getting a bad acne flare up 😣

as a then-30 year old 6 months out from her wedding day, I was lowkey panicked 🥲

but I was also confused…

in 2022 I suffered from estrogen dominance driven hormonal acne & fought hard to revamp my diet and eat more whole-food based

after that cleared, I honestly thought I was good

my hormones were in a decent spot, my GI map had improved (I never broke out like this back when I had really bad candida and dysbiosis) I went back to the drawing board

in Feb I started some new steps that finally ultimately got me where I am today!

here’s what I did that actually worked:

1️⃣ ACNE BOOTCAMP!

this came highly recommended, I saw @marillewellyn had gone to @vixenesthetics.atx here in ATX & her transformation inspired me to pull the trigger

this program gave me 2 things I’d never given my skin before:

a) a truly custom skincare routine with the right actives

b) focus on HOMECARE - I wash pillow cases/make up brushes weekly (almost) and use @tower28beauty HPO spray after walks + workouts

2️⃣ invested in a real red light mask from @omniluxled

I got the CLEAR + started using it 4X per week

I saw reduced redness & irritation, and it was the perfect compliment to my custom routine that helped them heal faster!

3️⃣ I added a filter to my sink!

specifically, the @heliosfilter 💧

acne prone girl are gonna be more sensitive to contaminants and irritant commonly found in tapwater

cleaning up that source of water I was putting on my face every day made a huge difference within a few weeks & perfectly complimented my routine!

the biggest thing that made a difference was being PATIENT.

I had purging breakouts ON my wedding day, and stayed focused on the long term picture 🙏🏻

I wasted $ on facials, harsh actives + products that weren’t made for me.

I still focus on the basics like hydrating, getting enough sleep, eating whole foods and high fiber w/ a relatively low inflammation diet

but tackling these elements was something I’d never done before, and I couldn’t be more grateful for how it’s turned out 🥹
