Film from R & B’s beautiful wedding at The Rookery, taken for @emilyfrazierweddings who graciously let me shoot a couple rolls of film on the side 💓

This first picture might be my favorite I’ve taken all year. The colors and the movement that came from these two running outside post ceremony—it feels alive, ephemeral. It reminds me of the special joy that finds me when I capture a fleeting moment and preserve it in time

L&E’s pre City Hall elopement getting ready at Soho House 💘

The tenderness and love present in this room could’ve healed the world. Personalized vows. Matching (surprise) gifts. A willingness to be present.

The best part about entering a space with people who are getting married is trying to meet them where they’re at. Shy and nervous about the camera? All good! Excited and bouncing off the walls? I didn’t tell them how to “pose” for the photo, I just let them do what felt comfortable and then captured the moment, my favorite way to do it

Last post for now from this lovely Chicago elopement shoot, all on film 🥰 I always prep one post, maybe two per wedding or shoot and then think hey maybe show moreeee of that. Especially this cake by @thegranvillebakery

May is in full swing with photo sessions and weddings. Lots of Super 8 coming as well! I have limited availability for elopements and summer/fall wedding weekends. Sharing a film couples portrait on this rainy Chicago day 🌷❣️

Though most of my work is focused on capturing the moment without prompting it, I also take chill portraits. I won’t always tell you exactly what to do or make you do a pose that feels unnatural to you, but I’m always down to gently guide and help you feel more comfortable when possible. A Chicago elopement styled shoot shot completely on film, current selection: Double and triple exposures taken with my Holga ♥️🫶🏻

We planned this shoot to showcase a vintage style elopement with handmade pieces. I wanted to test shooting on film only, no digital, and I’m looking forward to experimenting more creatively with film this year. Still booking 2026 and beginning to book 2027!
