Back in May, I got to share the pool at @surf.ranch with @griffin_cola. I’ve been to the ranch 3-4 times now and this last visit will be my most favorite visit ever. Griffin is so fun and impressive to watch there. He’s a freaking machine! I would hear him call out what wave he wanted and I knew exactly where to be to nail these shots like clockwork. Definitely made my job way easier.

I want to congratulate Griffin on a very successful year in the @wsl CT. I know it didn’t end the way he wanted it to, but I also know this will throw gas on the fire and he will come back with a vengeance next year. Congrats Griff! You’re a stellar human being. I recently had an amazing experience with some very close friends. A quick trip across the American Southwest gave us access to incredible landscapes and a chance to reflect on life in general. Aside from some beautiful photos and life long memories, I think the most rewarding part of trips like these are how I’m able to recharge, find patience again and therefore have the ability to be a better father and husband. It’s all connected. That’s why I keep going back. I guess I also love standing near edges… don’t worry I’m always safe!
