Dear Friends,

It is with an extremely sad heart that I let you know that our gorgeous Clara died last Friday. As many of you know, she had been ill in the past and we almost lost her 3 years ago from kidney and liver disease. However, her cheeky sister Mabel managed to give her a new lease of life. They were the best of friends.

Clara was known for her forever-wagging tail, her love for digging (in her later years), and her beautiful smile. She was the kindest girl, and wanted a cuddle and a pat from everyone she met.

Clara declined rapidly over the week before her passing and she let us know it was her time.

A special thank you to Dr Jess from @restyourpawsau who came to our house and helped Clara cross The Rainbow Bridge with dignity and love.

Thank you to all of you who have shown your love for Clara here on Instagram. You are all very special to us.

Mabel isn’t coping too well without Clara, but we will continue to share her posts on her account @mabel.english.pointer.

Lots of love,
Clara’s family 🤍 by @clara.english.pointer

On this day last year we said goodbye to our beautiful Clara as she crossed the rainbow bridge. It’s been the hardest year, knowing she’s in a better place now but still missing her so much everyday. Not a day has gone past where we haven’t thought of her and wished she was here still.

It’s hard to believe it’s been a year already, but at the same time feels like forever has passed since we last saw her. I can still feel her spirit surrounding us, can still feel her love and picture her cheeky smile and ever-wagging tail. She was the happiest, gentlest girl who brought a smile to everyone’s faces. I know a lot of you miss her very much too, and want to thank you again for your support for our family and little Mabel this past year.

Here are some photos of Clarsie before we said our goodbyes with the lovely Jess from @restyourpawsau (who we are so grateful for), and some adorable baby photos we found the other day.

All our love,
Clara’s family ❤️ by @clara.english.pointer

Happy Clara Day!! ❤️ Today is Clara’s Gotcha Day, the day we brought her home 15 years ago. This makes today her first heavenly gotcha day, and we are missing her especially on this special day. She was the most beautiful puppy and grew into the most beautiful girl. We miss you very much Clara, today and always 🕊️🐾

Hi everybody ❤️ Tomorrow will be our very first Christmas without Clara, so feeling very emotional at the moment. We miss her so much everyday but are lucky to have such beautiful memories of her, and such wonderful photos of her enjoying Christmas to look back on 🎄

We hope you all have a lovely Christmas and holiday season. Sending all our love to anybody who is missing somebody this Christmas too, we’re thinking of you ❤️🎄🐾

Thank you again to everyone who has helped us get through this difficult year. Forever appreciative of your love and support for us, Clara, and little Mabel. We see and appreciate all your comments here, however sometimes it is too much for us to respond straight away ❤️

Today would have been Clara’s 15th Birthday, making today her first heavenly birthday 🕊️🐾

It has been really hard to come back onto her account, but we want to continue to share memories of Clarsie here on Instagram. It’s been 292 days since she crossed the rainbow bridge and we miss her so so much everyday.

Thank you to all of you, and to all the support you have shown during these difficult months. It’s meant more to us than you know.

Lots of love, Clara’s family 🤍

Hello friends,

Yesterday we received this beautiful gift in the mail from @lykapetfood. It’s a candle in loving memory of our Clara, and a poem which brought us all to tears.

I hope that Lyka sees this post and knows how grateful we are. It really does mean a lot to us. Clara loved Lyka, particularly ‘Bopping Beef’, and would look forward to it every night for dinner. It was her favourite meal of the day, and now we can be reminded of that every time we light this candle.

Thank you so much @lykapetfood,
