Nobody tells you how much of yourself you’ll have to unlearn when living abroad

Grateful for the person all these small daily discomforts are shaping. Some days are heavy, but most days I’m amazed at how much lighter I move through the world now. Home is slowly becoming something I carry, not somewhere I left :) by @clarabenhm

One year ago today, I launched my creative studio.

If you’d told me back then that I’d be celebrating this anniversary in Greece, I wouldn’t have believed you. The plan was to stay in Paris for another five years, grow the studio, and then maybe move closer to the life I actually wanted.

So I stopped waiting.

I left without knowing if it would work. I still don’t know. And yet I’ve never been more certain.

I’m a creative director for wellness brands, and I chose this industry because I deeply believe in it: slower rhythms, nature, the sea, a place where rest isn’t something you have to earn. For years I was designing for that way of life while living the opposite. Now I finally live what I create for.

Year one, done. Year two, from here building @wellfounded.factory

Stop waiting for the right time. Go anyway :)
