I am back after exam!! I'm so happy 😍😍🤩🥳

What reminds you of Korea? 💭🇰🇷

A. BTS Concert!!
B. Blackpink!!
C. Squid Game
D. Korean drama
E. Spicy ramyun!

There's this movie on Netflix recently called "Squid Game 🦑" it reminds me of the big doll in the first game that calls out: "Green light... Red light!" 🤣

Korea has many spicy and fried food, like kimchi, corn dog, spicy rice cake etc. 🤤🥘
There are many song bands (KPOP Bands) from Korea too! Like Blackpink, Red Velvet, TWICE, BTS and Super Junior 🎤🎙️

I highly recommend these places in South Korea 🇰🇷:

1. N Seoul Tower
2. Jeju Island🌅
3. Teseum (Teddy Museum)🧸
4. Kpop Museum 🎙️
5. Skiing in Seoul 🎿
6. Lotte Theme Park 🎢
7. Trick Art Museum 🎨
8. Namiseom Island 🍁

Comment down below of your favourite Korean Movie and KPOP Bands 🤗

Another cute cafe near campus? (✪㉨✪)
I'm coming!! ><

Recently there's a new gem near my school, and the name's kinda cute (Hahasard) 😆✨ and this is the cafe that made shiopan my morning fuel besides matcha ฅ^•ﻌ•^ฅ🍵🥐
Their shiopans are all full of the fragrance of butter, plus the slight saltiness from the sea salt, and I personally go for their Red Bean butter! (It'll always be number 1 on my list of pastries ✨🤩) The sweet red bean paste pairs so we'll with the thick melted butter inside 🥹🤤🤤🧈
Okay, gotta go for another shiopan this week 🥐😋😋~

(P.S. their bagels and French Canele are also great!! And the two sisters there are cheerful and heartwarming!! ✨🤩

LADIESSS AND GENTLEMENNN ......
I finally reached 2K followers!! 🤩🤩♡(> ਊ <)♡!!

Firstly, I would like to give a million appreciations and love to all of my friends and loved ones who supported me along the way 🩷🩷 including my artist friends who gave lots of support and joy 😍😍

Making art, especially food illustrations and cafe hopping journals featuring my characters 🐼🐧 is my greatest passion
And it's the thing I anticipated every week, after working hard for school 😭😭

I used to face art blocks, the time when I couldn't think of an idea, and the times when my followers dropped to a low point that made me doubt whether I should continue this path

Although pursuing a dream is not easy, I always believe in every darkness, there's a route leading you to light, if you don't stop believing in yourself,
I met people who truly love my art, and artist friends along the way who supported each other, this made me realise I don't do art for fame, I do art just because it is what I love 🩷

THANK YOU SO MUCH GUYSS AGAIN!! For supporting me along!! 😍😍 This will truly be a milestone of my art journey ✨🌟 Love you guyssss <3333

Recently is the Mid Autumn Festival, aka 中秋节 in Chinese 🥮🤩🌕

A day of family reunion, watching the moon, lanterns decorating around the house, and of course, MOONCAKES!!🥮♡(> ਊ <)♡
I swear, there's just too many mooncakes in my house that I can eat them for breakfast every day of this week 🥹🥹

For me, I def go for red bean paste and matcha mooncake 🤤😋😋 (many of my frens go for snow skin and taro flavoured :3)

Happy Mid Autumn Festival everyone! 月圓人團圓！🌕🐰✨ Hope everyone gets to eat the delicious mooncakes! :D

Can you believe it's been 5 years since I started foodart??! ✨(☆▽☆)

This all started when I was cleaning my shelves, and I found my old sketch books during the pandemic era when I started watercolor (the nostalgia hits hard 😭😭)

And I was thinking: Why not recreating it again?? With my current style!
I used to go for realistic food arts in the past, but now I realized this is where I find my true art style (ㆁωㆁ)

And ngl, it's really a fun drawing experience! And reconnecting myself to the past me who just started this all

(P.S. This is my first art process video hehe, I'm gonna do more soon! And thanks to my bestie for the edits :3)

August has ended, and welcome September! (｡･ω･｡)ﾉ♡🩷✨

August had been a great month for my recharge (aka semester break) 😭😭 and I was finally back to creating my own arts for my account 🤩🤩

I went cafe hopping as usual, and some travels that gave inspos for my art as well, and even brainstorming on ideas for my new arts ✨

Tastes of My Childhood - Day 7!! (●♡∀♡)✨
ABC Ais Kacang (shaved ice) 🍧❄️

The last dish of a full course Malaysian meal should be a sweet and cold dessert! 😋😋 It fits perfectly well with Malaysia's hot weather 🌡️🥹

I love shaved ice, besides kakigori and bingsu, Ais Kacang is also my all time favorite to share with my friends~ ✨
I love the variety of toppings given, like cendol jelly (green bean jelly), peanuts, sweet corn 🌽 and red bean 🫘
And most importantly, the ice drizzled with syrup is also the sweetest feature!

Sooo next time when you get too hot in Malaysia, you can go to roadside stalls or cafes for a nice bowl of Ais Kacang or Cendol! (〃ﾟ3ﾟ〃)❄️

(P.S. Ask for extra jelly toppings!! If you love chewy textures 😋)

Tastes of My Childhood - Day 6!! ✨(≧▽≦)
The OG~~ Chili Pan Mee 😋🍜🍜

Noodles are my favorite, but the noodles that make me addicted to most are definitely Chili Pan Mee (I'm a fan of dried noodles too) 😋😋
I love the spiciness of the chili flakes, mixed with the creamy poached egg yolk, and topped with the saltiness of minced meat and ikan bilis (anchovies) 🤤🤤
Speaking of this already make my mouth water :'D
And it's my to go lunch too! Spicy food is what we Malaysians love ✨🥹🌶️🌶️

The soul of chili pan mee is def the chili (of course, it's in the name lol), and the poached egg, and I can go for second and third bowls per hour (jkjk) 😂😂

(P.S. Okay I need to get one for lunch this week gaisss :P )
