As the genocide in Gaza continues, we demand that it is not normalised or business as usual. Join us on the streets as we demand Services be included in the Occuppied Territories Bill and that the Israel V Ireland soccer game not go ahead in the Autumn. There is a precedent for this when the government refused Yugoslavia visas to play their fixture. Don't put the responsibility of this onto players. Calling on our government and the FAI to take leadership on this.

Netanyahu orders Israeli army to seize 70 percent of Gaza

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu says he has ordered the military to take control of 70 percent of the Gaza Strip, in defiance of the October 2025 ceasefire agreement. Netanyahu said Israeli forces already control around 60 percent of the Palestinian territory. Lend your support to end this genocide.

Join Clare IPSC on Saturday 29th November, International Day of Solidarity with Palestine as we mark this special day with the unveiling of our plaque at our Ireland Palestine Friendship Tree planted recently in Ennis. We will start the day at 11.00am at our weekly rally at 1916 monument in Ennis. At 11.45am we will march to Tim Smyth Park where we will gather for the unveiling. Our speaker on the day is Dr Tomás MacNamara. We will be joined by other guests including Blackie O'Connell, Paula Carroll and her daughter Eve, local singing group Eisteacht and many more for music, song, poetry and reflections. Palestinian food, tea and coffee will be available afterwards across the road in the CBS hall. All are welcome 🙏 . Ní neart go cur le chéile ❤️🇵🇸🍉

The people of County Clare
Join the people all over Ireland calling for an end to the Israeli genocide in Gaza.

We support the BDS campaign which calls for a boycott, divestment and sanctions against Israel.

An end to Israeli military occupation of Palestine.

We call on the Irish Government to fully support the Palestine struggle for freedom.

On Saturday the 31st of October Kites not Flights will be hosting this event on behalf of Kites not Frights who organised a counrty wide kite flying event to fundraise and show solidarity with the children of Gaza who are banned from flying kites.

All donations go to @childrennotnumbers

We will be meeting in the Fair Green, Ennis at 12.30pm

@michealmartintd at the UNGA this week, you said that "Nobody can say that they did not know, so let it not be said that we didn't act."

Yet Ireland remains Israel's SECOND LARGEST TRADE PARTNER (per capita) in the world.

Yet US/UK/Israeli warplanes continue to pass through our airspace and airports, UNCHECKED.

Yet you voted AGAINST ICC referral.

Yet you voted AGAINST stopping our Central Bank from facilitating the sale of Israeli genocide bonds.

Yet you voted AGAINST the Shannon Arms Embargo bill.

Yet you dragged your feet on the Occupied Territories Bill for YEARS and watered it down completely, rendering it near meaningless.

Yet you voted AGAINST imposing sanctions on Israel.

Yet you REFUSED visas to fully funded students from Gaza - survivors of THE MOST DOCUMENTED GENOCIDE IN HISTORY - whilst granting visas to ITF war criminals.

Yet you didn't intervene to stop the game(s).

PUT YOUR MONEY WHERE YOUR MOUTH IS.

Include services in the OTB. Sanction Israel. US military out of Shannon. Let them study. Stop the game. CUT ALL TIES with the genocidal apartheid regime.

Listen to the people you are supposed to represent.

WE WANT ACTION.

WE WANT SANCTIONS.

WE WANT BOYCOTTS.

WE WANT YOU TO UPHOLD INTERNATIONAL LAW - under both the 1948 Genocide Convention AND international humanitarian law, you have a BINDING LEGAL OBLIGATION to prevent and punish the crime of genocide.

UPDATE ON THE SUMUD 4 from 22nd/23rd Sept from the Sumud 4’s local legal team.

The four are on hunger strike, after having been arrested in March without being charged. They were part of a team organising the Maghreb Land Convoy of the Sumud Flotilla to bring humanitarian aid into Gaza this year.

Ghassan Bougdiri: (15 days)
He has lost 8 kg in weight.
He is experiencing dizziness and difficulty walking.

Ghassan Hanchiri:
His physical and mental health is poor; he told me he no longer has the strength to get out of bed and struggles to walk with balance.

Nabil Channoufi:
He has lost 14 kg, experiences occasional stomach pain and dizziness;

Wael Naouar (40days+) :
He isn't hearing well; he sits with me in a semi-comatose state. He is suffering from serious vision problems—he can barely see anything unless it is right in front of his face. He is also in constant, unrelenting pain in his chest, heart, and stomach, and he cannot sleep at all—to the point where he wishes he would lose consciousness or slip into a full coma just to find relief from the agony.

Global actions at Tunisian Embassies are happening across the world. In Tunisia they arrested a further 15 people for asking for the release of Sumud 4.
We handed in a letter to the Tunisian Consulate in Marseille last week.

The Sumud 4 must be released immediately and unconditionally.

There was brilliant support for the Stop The Game at our bridgil today. it is very clear from the huge amount of beeps, flashing headlights, thumbs ups and waves from passing motorists that the Irish people support Palestine and do not want these matches against the apartheid state to go ahead.

Come on you boys in green! It should not have come down to you, UEFA, the FAI and our government should have pulled your game but they haven't. We are now appealing to you to #stopthegame. ⚽️ 🙏
