The perfect autumn weekend in @visitashtabulacounty! 🍎🌊🍝🏰🍷

We were able to fit in beach walks, an apple orchard, flights and live music at a winery, delicious restaurants, iconic covered bridges… and we stayed in a Bed & Breakfast for the first time! 👏

11 things I’ve learned after running 1,000 days in a row! 🏃‍♀️

1) You can do anything for 10 minutes!
2) Running is way more enjoyable when you don’t care about tempo!
3) You don’t need a running watch or fancy running clothes.
4) Running is cheap, doesn’t use equipment, and doesn’t take up too much time.
5) We’re all living in our own movies, no one cares what you’re doing.
6) Listening to your body is important.
7) One good habit doesn’t override the bad ones you have.
8) Running in the mornings makes your day so much easier.
9) When you train alone, it makes race day so much easier.
10) Running is a great way to explore a new city or your own city!
11) There is so much good that comes from running! In four weeks, I’m running the @nycmarathon with the @colorectalcanceralliance! Help me reach my fundraising goal at the link in my bio!

1,000 days of my run streak! 🥹 “A Thousand Miles” - parody written by me 📝 (sorry about the allergy-nose😅)

On January 1st, 2024… I ran my first mile since high school. I only went to the gym a few times in college, and decided to start a “New Year’s Resolution” to run a mile a day, every day. Well, over 2-and-a-half years later, and my streak is still going strong!

I’ve now ran a mile in 8 countries and 9 states, have ran two half marathons and one full, and am running the @nycmarathon on November 1st with the @colorectalcanceralliance! I still have to reach my fundraising goal before I get to race weekend—visit the link in my bio to help me get there! 🏃‍♀️💙
