I thought I was going to my usual birthday photoshoot, never imagining that I was walking into a moment I would remember for the rest of my life. What I didn’t know was that my birthday surprise would turn into the most beautiful gift I could have ever asked for. A moment that would forever be in the books and a memory I’ll cherish for the rest of my life. That day, I got to say yes to my best friend, my forever, and the person I get to do life with. From being best friends, to falling in love, to finding out we’re going to become parents to our sweet baby boy, and now getting engaged, this season of life feels more special than I could have ever imagined. I’m so thankful for you, for the life we’re building, for the little boy we’re waiting to meet, and for all the beautiful chapters God has planned for us. I can’t wait to step into parenthood with you, grow alongside you, and experience all the beautiful, messy, unexpected parts of life by your side. There’s something so special about knowing that I get to marry my best friend and build a family with the person my heart feels most at home with.
This birthday will forever be one for the books, not just because I celebrated another year of life, but because I got to say yes to forever with you. The easiest yes I’ve ever said. This trip was nothing short of a life changing experience To everyone who prayed for me, donated, bought raffle tickets, shared my fundraiser, or supported me in any way, Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Because of your generosity, I was able to experience something that has forever changed my life. This trip wasn’t possible by my own finances or my own strength, it was made possible through God’s provision working through each one of you. Every prayer, every donation, and every single penny truly mattered. I can honestly say that I will never be the same. I went to Brazil expecting to serve others, but God did so much more than that, He transformed me. He humbled me as I realized there are so many places in the world where people have so much less than we do. It reminded me how easy it is to get caught up complaining about small problems and completely changed my perspective. I met children who have been endured things I can’t even imagine, yet they were some of the happiest and most joyful people I’ve ever met. Their faith and their testimonies reminded me how blessed we truly are and challenged me to live with more gratitude. Throughout this trip, I witnessed God move in incredible ways. I saw healing, salvation, restoration, and lives transformed by His love. But beyond what I saw, God was also working in me. He taught me to recognize His voice more clearly, gave me greater discernment, and continued growing the gifts He has placed inside of me so I can better serve His Kingdom and bring Him all the glory. I’m coming home with a heart that has been changed, a faith that has grown, and a greater passion to share the love of Christ wherever He leads me. Thank you for making this journey possible. Your prayers and generosity didn’t just send me to Brazil, you became part of everything God did there.
