The first @nationalpleasureband show (and split vinyl release with @merelandtony_merelvandijk is Sunday, April 27th at Cactus Music at 3:00. I also released the first single, "Neverland, South Carolina" today. Each song on this project is named for a fictional city in a southern state. I knew I wanted to include North Carolina, but that meant I couldn't omit South Carolina, the only southern state I've never visited. I was hung up on this one for a while - what do you write about a place you've never been? Then I realized that was the answer, and the song wrote itself. by @clarinerinet
