Fin de l’Expo… Profondément et à jamais reconnaissante❤️ pour ces six mois d’Exposition universelle Osaka Kansai, vécus du premier au dernier jour sur le site. Reconnaissante pour les rencontres, les découvertes, le travail d’équipe, et pour la part merveilleuse de cette aventure — humaine, culturelle, profondément marquante. Ces huit mois passés au Japon, un pays qui m’inspire depuis longtemps, ont donné à cette expérience une dimension toute particulière. Fière d’avoir représenté la République Dominicaine🇩🇴 — l’un de mes deux pays — et d’avoir donné le meilleur de moi-même, jusqu’au bout. お疲れ様です . End of the Expo… Deeply and forever grateful❤️for these six months of the Osaka Kansai World Expo, experienced from the very first to the very last day on site. Grateful for the encounters, the discoveries, the teamwork, and for the wonderful dimension of this adventure — human, cultural, and deeply meaningful. These eight months spent in Japan, a country that has long inspired me, gave this experience a very special dimension. Pourquoi ne pas s’ajouter du travail supplémentaire lorsque le sens est là ? Durant quatre semaines d’une rare intensité, le sculpteur Juan Trinidad a présenté son œuvre au Japon à travers deux expositions majeures, réunies sous le titre Transcendencia : à Osaka, dans le cadre de l’Exposition universelle, puis à Tokyo, en collaboration avec l’Institut Cervantes. Travail acharné, rencontres décisives, triomphes divers et variés, découvertes, et l’art — avec un grand A. Une expérience dense, exigeante, profondément transformatrice, qui rappelle pourquoi l’art mérite qu’on s’y engage sans réserve. Gratitude sincère à @02_luc , @saisaisaisai0518 , @pina.alx , @nambaumeda et à Monsieur l’Ambassadeur @edwardperezreyes. Sans oublier la fabuleuse Marianne de Tolentino, à l’origine du projet. ⸻ Why take on extra work when it truly makes sense? Over four intense weeks, sculptor Juan Trinidad presented his work in Japan through two major exhibitions, brought together under the title Transcendencia: first in Osaka, as part of the World Expo, and then in Tokyo, in collaboration with the Instituto Cervantes. Hard work, decisive encounters, various triumphs, discoveries — and Art, with a capital A. A dense, demanding, and deeply transformative experience, reminding us why art deserves full commitment. With sincere gratitude to Ruka chan, Saiya kun, Alex, Namba Umeda, and the His Excellency, the Ambassador Edward Perez. MyakuMyaku (ミャクミャク) is the official mascot of Expo 2025 in Osaka, designed by picture-book illustrator Kōhei Yamashita. Its name comes from the Japanese word “myaku-myaku,” meaning pulse or heartbeat — symbolizing life, continuity, and the flow of knowledge, history, and culture through generations. 五月の光 – Gogatsu no Hikari 🌞🌿 The month of May was just incredible… Celebrating my 35th birthday in Japan, right in the heart of a World Expo — that only happens once in a lifetime.
