I’M OFFICIALLY AN EMMY-NOMINATED CO-PRODUCER! Thank you @theacademy @pbs Still processing that sentence. Just know, whoever put me last, gon’ feel me first. 🙃😘🏆Omg omg omg. Just a woman from Baltimore following her dreams—and now I’m standing alongside the best in television with an EMMY nomination. The Body Politic is officially nominated, and I am overwhelmed with gratitude, disbelief, and so much pride. This story mattered. This team mattered. And now the world sees it. This moment is bigger than all of us. It’s for every underdog, every artist who’s ever questioned if it’s worth it, every person grinding behind the scenes wondering if anyone will notice. Keep going. Keep believing. Now… they see us! To our fearless director @pazgoodenough, producer @quotaarts, our incredible cinematographer @john_benam, our editor, our best cast @aukgud , and our incredible Mayor @mayorbmscott our community—thank you. I’m full of gratitude to have worked with you guys. To Baltimore—this one’s for us! The price just went up! Thank you God. Looking to book me as a Brand Consultant, Filmmaker or Lifestyle Influencer? Seventeen years apart, yet nothing could ever make us closer. My favorite girl graduated yesterday, and my heart couldn’t be more full. I am constantly amazed by your elegance, grace, brilliance, humor, kindness, and resilience. You are the very definition of excellence, an embodiment of the best qualities humanity has to offer. Nana would be so proud and is beaming upon you from above. Being your big sister (and second mommy) is one of the greatest honors of my life. I will always be your protector, your supporter, and your keeper for all our days. As you step into this next chapter, I pray it is filled with God’s light, abundant blessings, endless opportunities, and immeasurable joy. No one is more deserving than you. Congratulations, my Co. I love you beyond words, and I couldn’t be prouder of the remarkable young woman you’ve become. 🤍✨🎓 #graduation #sisters P.S: A huge thank you to all of my friends; many of whom aren’t pictured, who have been such incredible big sister / big brother figures to our girl. We love you all endlessly and appreciate you beyond measure.🫂💕 by @clarke_mckenzie
👩🏾‍⚖️🏙️ON THE HILL: Never thought that being Vice President of Brand and Growth Development would lead me to lobbying on Capitol Hill for my second year. This week was a powerful reminder of how many passionate, thoughtful, and driven people are working to create a more equitable, modern, and inclusive future through policy, advocacy, and collaboration. Returning to Washington, D.C. for my second consecutive year attending NCIA Lobby Days carried an even deeper sense of purpose this year. Beyond the headlines surrounding rescheduling and federal reform, the conversations consistently came back to one core issue: creating policy that reflects the operational realities of today’s regulated industry. Throughout the week, we met with the Congressional offices of Sen. Angela Alsobrooks, Sen. Chris Van Hollen, Rep. Julie Johnson, Rep. Kweisi Mfume, and Rep. Seth Moulton to discuss the real-world impact federal policy continues to have on businesses, employees, patients, research, financial access, and communities across the country. What stayed with me most was the collaboration. Seeing advocates, operators, service providers, policymakers, and community leaders come together with a shared commitment to progress, empathy, and responsible change was incredibly impactful. Grateful to have lobbied alongside Caroline Crandall, Rodney Holcombe, Allison Lipowitz, RhonTia Thomas, Dave Gravel, and Kristin Rogers, and thankful to everyone who made this year’s Lobby Days experience meaningful and unforgettable. Special thanks to NCIA for continuing to create space for these important conversations. Meaningful change starts to feel tangible when people come together with urgency, integrity, and a shared commitment to progress. #Leadership #Advocacy #PublicPolicy #SocialEquity by @clarke_mckenzie

Thank you all so much for the uplifting comments, sweet messages, calls, and all the positive energy you’ve sent my way. Your support means the world. I’m so excited for what’s to come—and trust me, this is just the beginning. P.S.
