I’ve had a lifelong dream of making movies ever since I can remember and it’s surreal to be making my own feature finally! We are making way and are more than half way through production. It’s been an eye opening experience from the director position with scheduling, problem solving, and constantly pivoting to stay on track. It wouldn’t be possible without this amazing crew, so here are a couple snapshots from set this past month. Thank you so much to Hope Partnership Middle School @hopepartnershipphl for letting us film in your beautiful space, especially at this time of year when kids are going back to school. It was truly a pleasure and thank you for welcoming us into your community. ❤️can’t wait to make y’all proud. Shout out to @ericilovett for these amazing set pics! 💯💪 taken in West Philadelphia by @dr.komal_k

Every week we see headlines about our young brown boys making decisions that alter their futures forever.

But what happens before the headline?

These moments from #KiaBoyz capture a father desperately trying to reach his son before the streets, bad choices, and pride take him down a path he can’t come back from. While the son pulls away, the father pushes harder, determined to get through before it’s too late, leading to a confrontation that neither of them expected.

KiaBoyz isn’t just about stolen cars. It’s about family, accountability, intervention, and the choices that can change a life in an instant.

Can a Father save a child who doesn’t want to be saved?

🎬 Behind the scenes from an upcoming scene in KiaBoyz. Stay locked in. The conversation is bigger than the cars.

We have been working hard fundraising and developing this movie and we finally made it to Day 1 of filming. Here are some snap shots of how the day went. It was a great time and I couldn’t have had a better crew supporting along the way. Thank you to everyone that donated and believed in this project, believed in us and believed in Philly, this is yours too, and can’t wait to share more. ❤️ taken in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania by @dr.komal_k

Of all the things we planned to do this month, we’re so glad we followed through on this. Thank you to our friend that recommended @cherryvalleymanor because it has now become our favourite bed and breakfast. The luxury, attention to detail, and the quality of breakfast that they picked from their garden cannot be captured in these pictures 😅 the proximity to the city also made it so convenient to take the time to reset.

Even though the place is incredible, we enjoyed the company of the owners even more. Sometimes you meet people that you feel like were in your life for a long time.

Thank you Julia & Stan for your hospitality and care. We can’t wait to see you again very soon.

Was lucky enough to be invited an shoot the @playlistretreat event at DJ Jazzy Jeff’s house with @directordevinhampton , @eyezit_banks, @mindfirexl @soundmanmike

A a bunch of amazing musicians, Dj’s an producers like De la Soul, Black Thought, David Banner, Rich Medina an so many other artists from all over the world came together to compete and collaborate in a challenge made by @djjazzyjeff .

Over the past week was like a crazy creative summer camp with panels and collaborations an I feel so fortunate to be hanging out with such established artists I’ve admired since I was a kid, so many of these people shaped the very genre of hiphop and I felt lucky to be in the room, it was a trip. Thank you to everyone at @playlistretreat for making the us feel welcome! ❤️ by @dr.komal_k

The first time we saw a @gunnarmontana show, I was stunned by all the emotions that overcame me throughout the performance. The message of the piece was clear in the details of how the set was built and the performance as well. As a chiropractor seeing what they were able to do with their bodies was incredible but it also got us thinking about the amount of training, falls, sprains, and strains it must have taken to get there 😅 It compelled us to collaborate in hopes to offer some comfort for the artists that work so hard to showcase their vulnerable pieces for our healing. ❤️‍🩹

Part of our Intune’s mission is to educate the public on the impact of chiropractic care-making this collaboration so easy and fulfilling. With the @seatedheatsfilms production team, we visited them after rehearsal and provided chiropractic care. We discussed tips to help maintain the health of their bodies and ways to avoid potential injuries. If you haven’t already, get your tickets for this year’s show before they’re sold out at gunnarmontana.com.

We had a great time taking care of @gunnarmontana Blackwood: Winterborn team!

It’s a privilege working with artists that are so passionate about their work and it’s important to shed some light on the cost of it for them. They go above and beyond to bring joy, healing, and entertainment to their audience so this was our way of thanking them for all that they do.

A special thanks to @clarkussmark for bringing his Seated Heats team to film this project. Stay tuned to see the full video.
