Creative thinking in action - Today students tackled the Storm Drain Challenge, working in teams to rescue everyday items like a wallet, keys, phone, and card from a “drain” using only limited materials. With no easy solutions, they relied on ingenuity, experimentation, and collaboration to succeed—proving that real learning happens when creativity meets problem-solving. #CreativeThinking #STEMLearning #ProblemSolving #HandsOnLearning by @class_roomantics

This term in Lego Club, we’ve been putting our engineering and creativity to the test with a bird-building challenge. Using specific design parameters, members constructed their own unique birds, then extended their thinking by creating nests and eggs to support them. The final step was the ultimate test: could their creations withstand “extreme weather” conditions like strong winds and simulated earthquakes? It’s been a fun and hands-on way to explore design, stability, and problem-solving. Stay tuned—an exciting new challenge is flying in for Term 2! by @class_roomantics
