“Lonesome Cowboy” Book in collaboration CLASSIC Paris A collection of stolen stills, scans & found images and original artworks. “The image of the cowboy is inseparable from solitude. The clearest example is probably Lucky Luke, the popular comic book series created by Morris in 1946. Every album ended in almost exactly the same way: the famous hero riding his faithful horse Jolly Jumper toward the sunset, whistling “I’m a poor lonesome cowboy..” Always the same ending, and yet never quite identical. So iconic that it naturally turned into the closing sequence of Spaghetti Westerns and then countless Western movies; Hollywood shaping in turn this myth of the Lonesome Cowboy endlessly heading West.” 8.5”x12” Available now in the Gift Shop by @classic.paris

EXHAUSTION OF A DESIGN CONCEPT 📝📚 We’ve said it often, but here’s a breakdown of our design research based on French literature books. A way for us to bridge the actual classic culture with hyper contemporary phenomenon. It started with our collaboration with @paraboot_official featuring a text by @insta__coop, photos by @matteoverzini and a studio visit with @87mosa87. Then came @thomaswinter2015 & @coccinelle.mp3 zine, tape & album cover declination for Apocalypsis. And ending with our most recent publication Board Meeting including Barry McGee, Puls, Jesse Geller, Thomas Crubezy, Julien Couic, Isaac Tin Wei Lin, Amaury Choay, Ambroise Degenne, Adek, Max Dimonte Marciano, Derek James Marshall, Trace Marshall, Thibault Choay, Nils Müller, Remio, May Sorat, Hugo Vitrani & more... All tied up with our love for #PortraitText by @commercialtype that our friend & designer @kelh_ once found for us that eventually became our signature font.
