It’s certainly not everyday you get the chance to be alone with a Mercedes-Benz 300 SL Gullwing. Better when it is a highly coveted example of a Gullwing that was delivered new to California in 1955.

We didn’t expect any car to be this good, but we were so wrong..

The 2026 Bentley Continental GT S is in a league of its own when it comes to the mix of luxury and performance that it provides.

4.0L twin-turbo V8 producing 671bhp, 930Nm and 0-100 in just 3.5 seconds, paired with that sensational Akrapovic exhaust for just enough noise to let everyone within a mile know your coming

This example is finished in Apple Green, which is a ballsy color for a Bentley but in the Irish countryside it really works, and turns what is usually an inconspicuous car into a proper head turner

For the price of a small house you’d expect it to be good, but it’s better than you think

Ferrari 296 Challenge 🐎

A record breaking, track only edition of the 296 GTB that ditches the hybrid system for a pure petrol 2.9L twin-turbo V6 with 690bhp.

The ninth track car developed for the racing series, replacing the V8 engined 488 challenge.

At 155mph, the 296 Challenge generates 870kg of downforce when its spoiler is extended to its most severe angle. For context, the Porsche 911 GT3 RS generates 860kg of downforce at 177mph.

Lightweight, loud and a lot of fun 💨

The Exige S is exactly what Lotus is all about. Tiny, light and completely focused on the drive. It looks every bit the part and is a seriously rare sight on Irish roads.

High powered hybrids done right 🤌

The 2026 Continental GT S is powered by Bentleys Hybrid V8 which delivers 930NM of torque and 671bhp. This translates into an acceleration from 0-100kmh in just 3.5 seconds and a top speed of 308kmh.. 💨

Power isn’t the only important part however. The car also features an active chassis system with all wheel drive, all wheel steering, active roll control system, torque vectoring and loads more game changing technology that makes this car an incredible thing to drive

The contrast between the Akrapovic sports exhaust system popping and burbling through country roads, and cruising around town in complete silence in EV mode is our favorite part of this car. A perfect blend of luxury and sportiness all in one package ⚡️⛽️
