Some rooms remind you of who you are. Others remind you of what’s possible. 🤎

My first CultureCon @culturecon was more than an experience. It was a reminder of the beauty of our stories, the power of our creativity, and the legacy we continue to build.

To be surrounded by so much Black brilliance, culture, and community was a beautiful reminder that we don’t just influence culture. We create it!!!!

The dynamic duo behind my photoshoot glam 🤎😍

I came into shoot day with a vision, and these two ladies brought it to life perfectly.

For my hair, I told @jaelahjhairstudio , I wanted a half-up, half-down look and she executed it to PERFECTION. 😍 She also gave me a versatile quick weave, so I can completely switch the look up 🤏🏾 I’m currently wearing a middle part right now and I’m obsessed.

And then there’s @glamourbytroi baby, the FACE. 😭✨ I told her I wanted something sultry, soft, and elevated, and she absolutely nailed it. I genuinely don’t think I’ve ever felt this beautiful 😍

There’s something so special about working with women who can hear your vision and elevate it beyond what you imagined. 🥹

My glam team did what needed to be DONE. 🤎

Unscripted 🤎

Yesterday I got to see one of my favorite gospel artists, @tashacobbsleonard, live at The Potter’s House Dallas 🥹🫶🏾

And when I tell you the Grace album STILL has me in a chokehold… that album came out in 2013 and I play it like it dropped yesterday. 🤎

That album has carried me through so many different seasons of my life, so getting to experience her live felt extra special 🫶🏾
