A moment of clarity: Currently, I’m at 17 of Deepak Chopra’s 21 Day Abundance Challenge and the task after meditating today was to write all the things that are important in my life and for which I have to be thankful. (It’s honestly an infinite list ❤️) As I was writing... the sun was rising, peaking from behind the buildings of Los Angeles, I gave thanks for the beautiful sun, the clean air, the warmth on my face... and I then noticed the image of me reflected in the window. Then came a moment of reflection on an earlier meditation.
A few days ago I meditated on universal energy and reciprocity. What we release to the universe comes back to us. In this brief moment, with the sun and reflection, seeing myself as one with the world beyond my window, I felt both peace and power that I *am* the universe. And you are as well.
Are you sharing your unique talents and energy with the world so that all of the abundance of the universe can come back to you? You are special and you have something special to contribute.
We are all connected. Connected to each other and connected to all that is and ever was. I hope you feel that.
This moment was also a reminder to me to start my own #abundancechallenge group. After all, I want to share with others so they may experience abundance. This has been a cathartic and enlightening process and I look forward to sharing it with others. It’s simple to get added to the group. Just let me know you want in before Saturday night. It’s free. It’s also simple to scroll past this. Whatever you choose will be the right decision for you for this moment. 🤗

“I have all the power, confidence, and humility I need to make my dreams come true.” Read more 👇
A couple years ago I would never even have thought to speak to myself like that ☝🏻 A couple years ago I had no idea what I wanted from life. I only knew that I wasn’t happy with the way things were going. Not happy with political discourse, not happy with the middle class losing money and power, not happy with my own life and my own projection of my future.
I wasn’t happy with any of that, but because my natural state is optimism and joy, I was just happy ENOUGH to be complacent.
I had no idea how to make a change in the world, but I had the feeling that I wanted to do something. I knew that I felt that way because I spent countless hours online researching and complaining about the problems.
I was focusing on the problems instead of focusing on the solutions.
In these past two years I have learned so much. I’ve learned about myself. I’ve learned about other people. I’ve learned systems that help us and systems that hurt us.
Through everything that I’ve learned, there are a few things that I find most important.
1. Believe in yourself, because anything that you set your mind to do, can be done. There’s no limit, so think it, plan it, and do it.
2. Focusing on problems does not produce solutions. Awareness of problems is fine, but only by maintaining focus on SOLUTIONS will we create the change that we desire in ourselves, our business, our family, our world... I’d love to hear some solutions that you are planning for your life. I’d love to hear some of your self talk. Positive or negative. We all start somewhere.
What can you say to yourself today and what solutions can you focus on today to create your ideal future?

I still get fired up by this picture from April 2018. More than ever I love my higher law company. A company that does what’s right and thinks beyond the small stuff. We think bigger. My coaches encourage me to think bigger. Encourage me to think about how to build people, how to make an impact, and how to change the world. More importantly, they challenge me to understand why I should and why I will. I love that we build people; their hopes, their dreams, their confidence.
Higher law, to me, means that we lead from the heart, that we explore the WHYs instead of just the WHATs.
What does higher law mean to you? How will you live and create higher law in your life? And why does that matter to you?

Thank you @brianaltounian @mcolemanceo @jaime.villalovos @jeffreylevitan @edmylett and so many more mentors who have guided, encouraged, and challenged me.

#nofilter #noadjustments to the image. Just me and my computer. No adjustments to the image, but aren’t we all experiencing adjustments in our #newworld?
So much of life now lived online; connecting, researching, growing.

Sometimes is almost feels like we’re through the looking glass. The question is what are you going to make of that reality? You can make it anything you want.
Want a relaxing time with family? Do that. Want to practice and hone a skill? Do that. Want to work on your branding and connect with others? Do that.
And then what’s amazing is to realize that this could have been your reality the whole time. You didn’t need this change, this entire world shutdown, in order to do what you wanted most. You could have already done it (and I’m mostly talking to myself with this). But now that it’s here, now that we are through the looking glass, how will you take advantage of it?

The “Maiku” haiku writing app is free today for iPhone users. I have to say, it was really fun writing my first one!

This clip from Think and Grow Rich the movie really hit me. I hosted a movie night with some friends on Zoom last night. So many good takeaways, but I reflect on who I used to be and who I am today.
Today I focus on bringing value to others. Today I make a difference in the world that goes beyond myself.

Know that you do that too. You too bring value to those around you, just by being in their lives. Just by being yourself. Just by caring for others.
I appreciate you. I appreciate you in my life and if we haven’t talked in a while (or ever) let’s do that. Let’s find out how we can support and improve each other’s lives because I know that that is exactly what we are meant to do. That’s exactly what we’re here for.
Today more than ever is the time to get connected. It’s the time speak to one another. It’s the time to show you care. It’s the time to bring value to each other by sharing our love and our strength together.

“Whatever you hold in your mind on a consistent basis is exactly what you will experience in your life.” -Tony Robbins

You are strong. You have the power to control your thoughts. Fill your mind gratitude, hope, action, propose.
These days it’s all too easy to get stuck with a mind filled of worry and pain. Those are completely valid emotions. When they come to mind acknowledge them and feel them. But don’t linger there.
How do you get out of that mindset? Appreciate that you are a caring person who feels pain for others. Be grateful for the roof over your head, the people in your life, even something as simple as the fact that you can breath, your heart is beating, you are alive! Change your physical state. Hop in the shower, go for a run, call a friend with a positive outlook and borrow their belief.
Once you get into that positive mindset hold it there. Focus there. Keep it.
The most helpful thing that I have found is to fill your life with a purpose that lights a fire in you. Maybe that’s cooking, maybe it’s art, maybe it’s being of service to others. Do that. Think about that. Fill your mind with positive thoughts and plans of your passions.
What’s your favorite tactic to improve your mindset? Who’s in your network with the positive outlook who can help lift you up? Tag them or share this post and let them know you appreciate them.
