If you make additional mortgage payments over the next couple of years (or have been) to help bring your balance down, and have a lower monthly payment you can call your mortgage loan servicer to ask for a MORTGAGE RECAST. They will recalculate your balance against your current low interest rate and amount of yrs. you have left on your loan and give you a new monthly payment.
(Each mortgage loan servicer requieres different consecutive on-time additional payments)

Real talk, Homeownership is one of those levels and getting there isn’t luck. It’s numbers, strategy, and knowing exactly what’s needed.

Lenders look at your debt-to-income ratio (DTI) when qualifying you for a mortgage. The higher your monthly debts (like a car payment), the less home you qualify for.
A house will never stop you from buying a car, but a car payment CAN stop you from buying a house.
Before you finance that new vehicle, talk to a loan officer first. One decision can change everything when it comes to your approval amount. See your purchase power first, then get that car. Trust the process. 🏡✅
