POSTS STORIES REELS

#icymi - here is my conversation (end got cut off instagram!) with @becca__black for @timstoreyofficial ‘s #worldshakerforwomen kickoff from a few weeks ago. Oh what a night!
:::
I’m always happy to help inform people on all things healthy, from the return to natural beauty (and what that actually means IE what you eat, how you exercise; what products you use internally and externally) that is suddenly so popular - hey I was raised that way thanks mom! - to the importance of our inner life, our spiritual practices, in order to thrive in life no matter who you are or what you do. There’s just so much that lights me up about helping to guide people to get in tune with who they truly are so they can pivot, reframe, up-level and thrive in all areas of their life. 💫

It was a powerful evening ✨ thank you @timstoreyofficial for allowing us to share our experiences in order to inspire and help others 🙏

And yes, @brentbolthouse and I sure know how to tell stories and always bring a chuckle to an otherwise weighty subject matter 🤩👊💜

#talkingtuesday #AI - here I start sharing my thoughts about the potential hazards of letting AI grow too fast and take over too quickly. Steady as we go humans, our very lives are at stake even if that grave possibility is still a far ways into the future.
:::
I also forgot to mention in vid: the idea of a robot folding my laundry is also unappealing since there is a great advantage to tasks that require us to use our hands. The hand brain/mind connection is important to keep active so our motor cortex somatosensory cortex is kept mobile and activated. If not over time the results of disuse or immobilization decreases motor cortex excitability and reduces activation in the somatosensory cortex. Not ideal. When we engage our hand/brain connection we increase motor skills and more.
:::
More AI stuff to come.

Happy World Stroke Day 💙 October 29th

First pic: as a spokesperson for The American Stroke Association @american_heart i went on a press tour in May 2015 for World Stroke Month with my neurologist #DrCarolynBrockington, here we were on @nbcnews @nbc and…

Second pic: …look who I met in the green room, @nachofigueras who was there to promote his book (nothing to do with strokes) such a lovely person who is also doing lovely things in the world with his platform 🙏💯

From midtown to downtown last night to celebrate @zacposen for @gap X @apc_paris where the old #alaia store used to be (just learned that last night thanks to @laurenezersky ! ) always with my partner in crime the formidable @davidbryannash and in my recent fave denim vintage 70s disco catsuit treasure 🤩💙

What a treat. Thank you @petersom @davidbryannash @billblassusa for the spectacular viewing of the BB archives. - stunning to view in person. Quite a collection, and wonderfully curated exhibition and auction dedicated to the man who is known for American Elegance when it comes to US fashion designers. I had the privilege to be featured in his fashion shows and campaigns. What a thrill to see the talented @petersom again and to meet PC Chandra and the two Mr. Kim’s. To spot a dress I wore in the S/S ‘93 show was extra! 🤍 bravo @christiesinc
