#rock #bandas #musica #mtv #engraçado taken in Loja Headbanger by @claudiomusic

This is so so sad. I am shattered.

My first contact with 𝐆𝐥𝐞𝐧 𝐇𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐚𝐫𝐝 was when I saw the movie 𝐎𝐧𝐜𝐞 in 2007. I was moved to tears by the story, the performances and most of all the music. He and Markéta Irglová were a perfect pair.
Since then his solo albums, the ones that he did with his band The Frames and the duo with Markéta called The Swell Season, became part of my life. I bought Every new release.

In 2014 my dearest friend @nicpotz invited me to an Eddie Vedder’s concert. I wasn’t too enthusiastic about it but everything changed when she said that Glen was the opening act.
Armed with his battered acoustic guitar he did what he did best: mesmerized the audience with his voice, passion, delivery and songs. I was in tears when he sang “This Gift”. Even the absence of my favorite “Maybe Not Tonight” wasn't a bad thing. And now I will never see him singing it. I was very happy that I’d see him again in November.

His version of Bruce Springsteen’s “Drive all Night” is as good as the original. If you didn’t see the video I urge you to do.

Such a sad day but his songs will be with me forever.💔 taken in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil by @claudiomusic

Today marks the 40th anniversary of 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐒𝐦𝐢𝐭𝐡𝐬 masterpiece: 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐐𝐮𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐢𝐬 𝐃𝐞𝐚𝐝.

It was the first album that I bought it on the release cause the others were already released when I came to know them in 1985.

Morrissey’s poetry and 𝐉𝐨𝐡𝐧𝐧𝐲 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐫’s songs that made us smile and cry were on a total high. With the brilliant bass lines of 𝐀𝐧𝐝𝐲 𝐑𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐤𝐞 and the rhythmic steadiness of 𝐌𝐢𝐤𝐞 𝐉𝐨𝐲𝐜𝐞, The Smiths were at their peak.

“𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐢𝐬 𝐚 𝐋𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐑𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐍𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐆𝐨𝐞𝐬 𝐎𝐮𝐭“, “𝐂𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐭𝐫𝐲 𝐆𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐬“, 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐁𝐨𝐲 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐓𝐡𝐨𝐫𝐧 𝐢𝐧 𝐇𝐢𝐬 𝐒𝐢𝐝𝐞“, “𝐁𝐢𝐠𝐦𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐤𝐞𝐬 𝐀𝐠𝐚𝐢𝐧“, “𝐍𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐇𝐚𝐝 𝐍𝐨 𝐎𝐧𝐞 𝐄𝐯𝐞𝐫“ and the beautifull sadness of “𝐈 𝐊𝐧𝐨𝐰 𝐢𝐭’𝐬 𝐎𝐯𝐞𝐫“ are my highlights in a perfect album.

It’s a shame that they ended with just one more album. There are the solo careers of the singer and of Mr Marr which will release a new album, ‘The Age of Everything’, on October 2nd.
