𝟯𝟬𝟬 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗮𝗻𝘁𝘀, 𝟯𝟬 𝗣𝗲𝗿𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗲𝗿𝘀, 𝟲 𝗔𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘀, 𝟮 𝗧𝗶𝗺𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀, 𝟭 𝗚𝗼𝗮𝗹. Amped to share I am Co-Directing & Co-Producing @invisiblecity’s most ambitious event yet (their words not mine 😄) in partnership with @oneworldimmersive on JANUARY 12th.

🚀 One-night events are typically able to bring on heavy hitting, flashy entertainment or fast formulated character acting without being able to prep much while One World is meticulously designed with a long-term connection goal in mind. From storyline & activities to costuming & engagement, every feature has been carefully considered. When Chris approached me, I blown away by the attention to detail. After hours of brainstorming, we’ve only scratched the surface of what we want to achieve. I feel very honored to get to sit with these creatives. It’s not everyday you have the means to invite a team of directors to brainstorm for hours in an equitable & collaborative container, but it reinforces the identity of every passionate actor I know when possible. Our performance design team is ready to embrace the excitement of learning, playing, & exploring possibilities of a better future with the audience.

IRL presents Structured Light, A Solo Contemporary Art Exhibition by Chris Clavio.

In reaction to a world saturated by overstimulation, Clavio seeks a counternarrative using projectors and LEDs to cast light in highly minimalist arrangements of form and color. By using light as a sculptural medium, his artwork delivers an experience with immense power and gravity, that at the same time is sublime and otherworldly.

Structured Light is his first solo show after working full time for the art collective turned arts/entertainment behemoth Meow Wolf between 2015-2020. In his role there, Clavio managed the electrical design that powers all of the art in each of Meow Wolf’s exhibitions. He considers this experience instrumental in his development as an artist.

Opening: September 2nd, 2022 | 6-9pm
Location: 2601 Walnut Street, Denver Colorado 80205

Gallery hours: Showing by appointment only. Please contact info@irlart.com
