Evil V9

This is easily one of the best boulders I have ever done. The feeling on a climb like this is something words just can’t describes. This boulder deserves way more respect and attention than it has gotten so far.

I was worn out by the time I sent so it definitely wasn’t the cleanest. Goodluck finding a spotter as good as my boy Bobby. taken in Little River Canyon National Preserve by @clay_pilgrim

Honeycomb v10

I’ve been trying this one on and off for a couple months. It’s nice to finally check off a project that isn’t as close to home. More of a fight than I expected, but the movement was really fun to learn and lock down. taken in Laurel-Snow State Natural Area by @clay_pilgrim

Scalpel v9

Was riding the high from JH and thought I’d give this one a try immediately after. Was planning to get shut down but it ended up going after a couple tries. Super cool but nasty little crimp on this one. Not the cleanest send but I’ll take it🫡

Also ended up doing “smash alley”(v8) then following Michael up “burl”(v7 ish???) to get the second on that cool new boulder. Excited to see where the rest of the season goes. taken in Hospital Boulders by @clay_pilgrim

Awesome first trip to the New this weekend camping and climbing with some friends. Didn’t get footage of everything but got some good moments

The Blacksmith V9

Saw this in the guidebook and thought I’d give it a try. Definitely underestimated how pumpy this problem would be, especially when it’s 80 degrees outside but I’m glad I put the work in. Super fun movement and a pretty spooky top.🫡

Five-0 V9

This is as classic as it gets and easily one of the best I’ve done at hp40. I thought about saving the problem for next season but it was eating away at me and I had to go back and do it. The temps definitely weren’t great and I had already climbed a few hours but I couldn’t let myself leave without sending. Thanks to @m_beazy for working the magic fan that without a doubt helped. Also another motivating factor was when @alex.freeman56 asked me earlier that evening why I wanted to try it when it had been baking in the sun all day and that made me want it more.
