NCECA friends!! I will (possibly) have work at NCECA!:)
I currently have this puppy in the back of my 2011 Chevy equinox that has broken down 3 times in the past 2 months 😜 ~ I’m accepting thoughts and prayers at this moment 🧍🏻‍♀️

If you can make it out to our show you totally should!
~ there may or may not be a real bronco at our venue!😳🐎

Now introducing our next Post-Bac Ryan 🐎 🪄

Ryan has been making work at Western Michigan University for the past 5 years as an undergraduate and post-baccalaureate student. They have presented work across the United States, in places such as: Goggle Works (PA), Saratoga Clay Arts Center (NY), Birmingham Bloomfield Art Center (MI), and the Albertine Monroe-Brown Gallery (MI)

Ryan’s work is influenced by queerness and identity. Created from a place of magic and memory, their artworks are collisions of dreams and nightmares, lust and misfortune, the sinister and the sublime—where glamour melts into something grotesque. Each piece birthed from a portal of eerie fantasy, ushering in a Midwestern mirage of vanity and secrets. by @claybyryan

50 hours of rolling grass later….🥸🫠🥹
Anyways, I’m not the best with change, even when I know life is calling for it. This grassy dude gave me time to think about how I’m the product of my own environment and surroundings. How I become comfortable and inevitably surrender something more. I don’t understand myself at times. Makes me wonder what parts of me are authentic, and which parts I’ve adopted from others. Life is weird. And when you realize it starts becoming you and you become it, hopefully you’ll move on. taken in WMU Frostic School of Art by @claybyryan
