A harvest table way up in the mountains🍁

This was such a fun table to do. I worked with the incredibly talented @claysaltbox to style a table for the debut of her pottery rental business. Each piece was handmade by her in her home studio.

The glassware cups and platters are from @red.flower.studios

The cutlery from @wasatchforge

Flowers from the talented @collective.floral

And my favorite @lustr.creative_ with the gorgeous cake.

We drove all the way up Provo canyon for this shoot because we wanted it to fully be in nature. It turned out so beautifully. taken in Provo, Utah by @claysaltbox

The process to get a plate from raw clay to usable at your table- after they've dried completely which takes a few days they're first fired to 1940 degrees which takes around 24 hours from heating to where you can remove them from the kiln. We then glaze them then fired again to 2167 degrees and give them another 24 hours. Its a process and lots of waiting but always worth it

The table, as art.

When each piece carries its own weight,

You need less.

Every piece has movement- each shaped by hand, each holding distinction. Cups, cutlery, plates, candle holders.

There is no matching here- only composition.

An exercise in restraint.

In texture.

In form.

The Clay Saltbox began with pottery, but we’ve always wanted it to be about more than ceramics.

We love bringing together the work of other artists to create a table made entirely by hand.

These beautiful glasses are handblown by Red Flower Studios.
