This camp season I’ve found myself full of gratitude.

Grateful for jokes with @johnnyfmendoza + @wbradsims, to be able to direct with my best friends @sarahjane_shirley + @lilianavazgilbert, to capturing content with @_abbyhetz_ + @loreleisimss + @arreola_silas27, for unprompted hugs from my guy Micah @gingermendoza, and Starbucks from @aubs.guerra_2 + Dr. @reeannin.

I’m so proud to be able to spend summers at Camp Timberlake and I’ll never have enough words to adequately describe what an honor and a privilege it is to serve with some of the greatest folks in the world.

These are the days I prayed for! taken in Timber Lake Retreat Center by @claytonshirley

Ate a lot of @gabagoolcolumbus

What a joy it is to be married to someone like Sarah Jane, for five years(!!!)

Thank you for being consistent and loving and an example of everything that’s right

If I could change anything over the last 5 years of marriage I’d tell myself to stop and appreciate everything that you are more

Those lyrics from Springsteen still play in my head all the time

Happy 5 years, let’s do it forever ❤️ taken in Gabagool Restaurant by @claytonshirley

learned a lot, stuff changed, decisions were made, life happened, and I went to therapy but we’re leaving 2024 better than we found it

praying for clarity, discipline, and health for you all, grateful is an understatement

on the way home today, Iris said “I’m really happy” and we are too.

Camp Timberlake is a special place, I can point to places on that campground where my life was changed. Where I was called into ministry, made lifelong friends, and made decisions that would define my future.

When I was younger, I used to watch the teams of people who ran Youth Camp and think “I want to be able to do that one day” and being able to help make camp happen for 100s of students with @georgiayouthmin every summer is one of the honors of my life!

@johnnyfmendoza thank you for always including me and allowing me to be on your team(s)! Forever in the Mendoza’s corner and grateful for you and @gingermendoza ☝🏻

love you also, @tedder12 🧡
