I don't care that it's over 100 degrees in Massachusetts today. I'm still wearing this Black T-shirt today. Because I'm in mourning and because it remains f the media that kept intentionally driving this wedge. This wasn't just a betrayal of @fchwpo it was a betrayal of all of Celtics Nation. by @clbergpowers

17 years ago today I woke up on my Dad's couch because Jordan and I were already living in sin but traditional enough to not see each other before the wedding, so I got ready at my dad's before heading to the beach in a hurricane to have a chaotic afternoon wedding. This morning our kid woke up on our couch because she wanted to watch Bluey with her Aba until she fell asleep after a very long and amazing bat mitzvah day. Somehow over the last few months, in between an incredibly busy work season for me and super intensive doctoral work for Jordan, we managed to communicate enough to pull off a pretty great party for a kid who put in so much work and energy into her bat mitzvah. In what could have been a really tough year between those milestones, a diabetes diagnosis, and all of the wrenches life throws, I'm so grateful to have a husband and co-parent that keeps me grounded, reminds me to take deep breaths, and still flirts with me enough to make our almost teen roll her eyes. Happy Father's Day and Anniversary to the best copilot I could ever ask for. by @clbergpowers

I am so lucky to have the most supportive, kind, and caring father on the planet, and even luckier to see him be the best Pow Pow to Ella. From dance recitals to musicals, to doing a reading at her bat mitzvah despite bringing me to Catholic Church every Sunday my entire childhood straight up through confirmation, he is endlessly supportive. I would absolutely not be the woman I am without a father who exasperatingly encouraged my questioning and taking my own path, even when it stressed him sleepless. And I would never have been able to take that path without knowing I could always call if I got lost. We're so lucky to have such a champion. by @clbergpowers

This is my third grade school picture. When my Uncle Paul offered to cut my hair for a test at Rob Roy, where he was finishing his license, I knew exactly what I wabted- Madonna in the Express Yourself video. I think he did pretty well and that between that and the navy striped jumpsuit I've got in here, this 8 year old was ready for business lol.

I have been putting off getting a needed haircut for a couple of weeks. This morning, Pinterest pushed me like 8 versions of this early 90s wedge, so I'm going to take it as a sign. For those that don't already know, my uncle passed on Friday evening after a brief home hospice. He will be missed. And in so many ways, hell still be with us. by @clbergpowers

When I read Dolores Huertas' statement today I was heartbroken for her and of course, like many others, shocked by the revelations. And I also felt a deep familiarity in her articulation of the need to protect the reputation of someone who was harming her (and it turns out many others) for the sake of the movement they were in together. Depressing how instantly recognizable this is. Sending so much healing energy their way, and to fellow survivors who are reexperiencing trauma today as a result. by @clbergpowers
