Jesus, the Perfect Lamb of God that took away the sins of the world. No one took Jesus life from him, The only Begotten Son of God gave it up freely for all of us. When Jesus hung on the cross and darkness fell over the world there were more than 72,000 angels arrayed in battle armor with swords drawn waiting for a word from Jesus lips to come and rescue him and bring judgement on the world. That word never came. Jesus only spoke "Father, forgive them for they know what they do" and then at the end "It is Finished" The great debt of sin that the world could not pay, that YOU could not pay was paid in full. It was not the nails that held Jesus to the cross, it was His love for You, for me, for Isaac and all of mankind. Salvation that was won on the cross by Jesus was purchased for all, it was deeply personal, Jesus knew YOU on the cross and everything that you would ever do.... All that is left is for you to turn away from your sin, turn to Jesus and in Faith receive the gift that His precious blood bought. Don't delay, none of us knows how much time we have left. If you hear His voice calling, the time of salvation is Now. He stilled the storm to a whisper; the waves of the sea were hushed. "Greater love has no man than this, that He lay down his life for His friends" Everyone owes a debt that they cannot pay. Jesus Christ came to earth to suffer and die in your place and to pay that debt so that you could be restored to a right relationship with God. Before Jesus gave up his spirit on the cross He proclaimed in a loud voice "It Is Finished". All of mankind's sin debt that none of them could pay had been paid in full by the only one who could pay that debt, the Only Begotten Son of God, Jesus. All that is left for you to do, is to humble yourself and receive that gift from God. "For by Grace are we saved, through Faith. It is a gift from God, not a result of works so that no man can boast". If you hear Jesus calling to you today, don't ignore His invitation. Jesus Christ is KING, He is KING of Kings and LORD of Lords, He always has been and always will be and His Kingdom has no end! One day EVERY knee of every person who has ever lived will bow before him. Jesus came 2000 years ago because "God so loved the world, that He gave His Only Begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him, shall not perish but have ever lasting life". When he comes again He comes to rule and claim what is His own and he is bringing judgement and justice. It would be wise to consider bowing to the KING now while his Mercy and Grace still abounds.
