Seriously Unserious Person
I send short funny emails every Sunday

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

I want my social media to be more honest.

So I’m going to start posting differently.

Sharing more of my day to day life and talking more about what I’m creating and why I’m creating it.

I’ll still post goofy things and photo dumps but I just want to be more intentional about how I’m posting and what I’m sharing.

This post will help me stay honest about that desire. by @clebdemps

Somebody asked to pick my brain last week so I had it removed and photographed.

Six regions. The two that matter most are the biggest thing on the map and the smallest.

This is what’s inside my mind as an email marketer.

#email_marketing #newsletter #newslettertips #marketing

The Sender Name Lobe is enormous, because people do not open for the subject line, they open for whoever is sending it and whether that name has ever been worth their time.

The Subject Line Cortex is a tiny dot. You will spend forty minutes in there anyway. But it really doesn’t do much once you build a system around your newsletters.

The open loop is the part that takes the longest to develop. It’s developed in storytelling, and dwindles when you let curiosity die. When you nurture it, every is on the edge of their seat.

The reply nerve is that button that nobody asks you to press but you wish people would press it so badly. Just start asking, it’s less painful than you think.

The segmentation gland turns vanity metrics into data. when you understand what’s useful, it creates a really an incredibly attuned sense for crafting emails.

This fossil that etched itself into the back of my skull still works better than most of what people do now in their emails. Use classic methods of engagement bait to build raw connection with your readers.

You won’t regret it.

And that’s my whole brain. If you liked this follow me. Or don’t. I don’t care. (I care a little) by @clebdemps

My coffee passport is officially in the world. Starting with ten locations and we will be adding more every week until the beginning of May when we should have all 31 locations online.

Since they fit in an envelope all my preorders are getting the cost of shipping refunded, and all future orders are going to come with a handwritten note and maybe some little future bonuses ♥️😋

Thanks everyone for getting coffee with me. Let’s do it again tomorrow.

I’m trying to actually read books this year in a way that expands my mind instead of contributing to internet brain rot.

Here’s my “curriculum” line up for Q1 of 2026, at least in physical media. I am of course listening to audio books and reading articles that I am not showcasing here.

Been really enjoying clowning around recently.

Life’s gotten so much more fun when I started embracing life with more whimsy, joy, and play.

In dark and weird times like these make radical joy way harder and more important than ever.

I hope you’ll continue joining me in learning how to choose joy and play each and every day.

I’ve been wanting to get an aura portrait like woah!

Thankfully I was near Salem last weekend so I went with @kathyhestercooks, @paul.gowder, Kelli and Cheryl.

I was trying to condense this down so it was short enough for instagram but I have more footage that I will post if you want it! taken in ASCEND Get Lifted by @clebdemps
