October is domestic violence awareness month and I feel really lucky to have had a chance to attend the Reinvention Edit which was held in honor of Love & Protect Wisdom. 1 in 3 women experience intimate partner violence in their lifetime and it’s important to know the available resources.

Maine ladies, the Maine Coalition to End Domestic Violence helps promote organizations that can help you or a loved one navigate these situations. The link is in my bio to learn more. 💜 taken in Three Cities Social by @clementeorganization

🎀 United In Pink 💗

For every story, every journey, and every life touched by breast cancer, may this month serve as a reminder of the importance of continued research, greater awareness, and hope for the future💕

This October, we honor survivors, stand alongside those currently navigating a diagnosis, remember those we’ve lost, and recognize the families and loved ones impacted by breast cancer.

May we continue to support advancements in research, encourage awareness, and work toward a future with better outcomes for all!

Lots of updates coming soon but I had an amazing time attending the Bright Promises Award Ceremony last week. Bright Promises helps provide youth all throughout Chicago with the tools they need to thrive and show up as their best selves.

My biggest takeaway was that when community leaders strengthen systems early, they improve outcomes for kids before they are in a crisis. This work matters and I’m happy I was able to connect with such great people.🫶🏻 taken in Chicago, Illinois by @clementeorganization

Today is October 1st, marking the beginning of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. 🎀

Today, and throughout the month of October, we honor the survivors, remember those we have lost, and stand alongside those currently fighting breast cancer.

Early detection can make a difference. Knowing your body, staying up to date with recommended screenings, and speaking with your healthcare provider about any changes or concerns are important steps in protecting your health.

This month, we wear pink in support, in remembrance, and in hope. 💗

My hometown has the coolest fair @thebigefair and I had the honor of being in the Massachusetts Day Parade 💕 This is an appearance that I held hope of doing along my entire pageant journey if I were to ever receive the honor of being Miss Massachusetts USA so it finally coming to fruition was surreal! Thank you to the Big E, staff, and the incredible attendees I was able to meet and connect with.

The Big E is the 4th largest fair in North America and is the only fair in America that represents six states! It is home to some of the most unique fair food and experiences. Be sure to stop by until October 4 to experience the magic that I grew up with! 💖

Twenty-five years later, we remember. 🤍🇺🇸

Although I was only three years old on September 11, 2001, and don’t personally remember the events of that day, visiting the 9/11 Memorial in New York City during the 25th anniversary year left a profound and lasting impression on me.

Standing there, surrounded by the names, the memories, and the many people who had gathered in remembrance, reminded me that some moments in history are felt far beyond those who witnessed them firsthand. There was something incredibly powerful about seeing people from all walks of life come together to honor those we lost and reflect on a day that forever changed our nation.

Today, I remember the lives lost, the families forever changed, the first responders and heroes who answered the call, and all those who continue to carry the impact of that day.

May we never forget. 🤍🕊️🇺🇸

To have been able to visit the 9/11 Memorial was nothing short of surreal. I had the pleasure of meeting a man named Paulie who started Paulie’s Pushcarts. He was a former flight attendant who wanted to honor the individuals lost that worked for United and American Airlines and made a commitment to push a beverage cart and walk along each of the flight paths. This year alone, he traveled 28 days to return to Ground Zero. His work matters but more importantly, remembering matters. 🤍
