Brand New Art 💥💥💥🔫 “I would always see people wearing ugly sneakers because they were from whatever fashion house. It didn’t matter what they looked like; it was about the brand. I thought, What if the shoe is dope and it’s from an aspirational brand? That felt like the opportunity.” -Salehe Bembury by @clemits

Brand new Art 💸💸💸™️ “While a lot of hip-hop was inspired by jazz or James Brown samples and was made to be played live in the clubs, I made hip-hop that was made for MCs to eat the mic up. It was an aggressive form of hip-hop. It was made just for hip-hop. It’s not made to sing or dance to, though you can if you want.” -Rza by @clemits

Brand new music 🌊 “That is the key of this collection, being yourself. Don’t be into trends. Don’t make fashion own you, but you decide what you are, what you want to express by the way you dress and the way to live.” -Gianni Versace by @clemits

New Art 💸 “The other thing about it — not to throw any stones at anybody — is a lot of my success has been very slow and organic, and so as a result, I know how I got here. If worse comes to worse, I can continue doing the things that got me here, and it’ll be all right.” -Billy Woods by @clemits

New Music 🎬™️ “Definitely I want to be rewarded for my craft and take care of my family ‘cause at the end of the day that’s what it’s all about. No, I’m not a money-hungry dude, I just need to take care of my family, you understand? I’m very humble.” -Sean Price by @clemits

New Art 💥🔫 “When you go out to paint, try to forget what objects you have before you, a tree, a house, a field, or whatever. Merely think, here is a little square of blue, here an oblong of pink, here a streak of yellow.” – Claude Monet by @clemits

Brand new Art 💸 “I’ll take two months off just to listen to records and not do any music so I can absorb all that and then when I go do my music. It’s all in me. I’ll listen to a different genre every two days or something, study it, 24 hours straight.” -Madlib by @clemits
