A glimpse inside one of our recently completed projects in Locust Valley.

Nestled on a breathtaking two-acre property, the home offers an exceptional landscape, but its interiors did not reflect the client's lifestyle. Confined rooms, an undersized primary suite & bathroom, and an outdated layout called for a complete reimagining.

Our design introduced a gracious new primary suite with a spa-inspired bath, a second-floor laundry, and a bespoke walk-in closet for all bedrooms. On the ground floor, we created a pantry tailored for a passionate home baker, and a jewel-box powder room that celebrates our client's vibrant personality.

Every decision, from the architecture to the smallest finish, was made with intention. The result is a residence thoughtfully curated around the rhythms of our client's life today, while anticipating how those needs will evolve in the years ahead.

We are honored to have helped bring this vision to life and grateful to our clients for entrusting us with their home. Another beautiful project, thoughtfully completed.

Outside of my father, Sly is the man that has had the most influence on the man I am today. He was my mentor and little did I know at the time, the lessons learned working alongside him would serve me well to this day long after my days working in the music industry. Sly's untimely passing truly represents the end of an era in Jamaican music.

I was 23 years old, sitting outside Anchor studio waiting nervously to meet the reggae legend I had always heard about. I produced a minor hit playing on the radio at the time and felt quite confident, if not cocky, in my musical abilities. When Sly arrived, I was surprised at his humble demeanor - I learned immediately that greatness begins with humility. I offered to carry his drum machine, which I did for the next three years. In addition to his blistering work ethic, Sly had an ever present self awareness that allowed his creativity to flow in the moment and a knack for moving the creative zeitgeist ahead ever so slightly - he was always ahead of his time. A true genius, he was always available to offer advice and guidance. He taught us all what being the best in the world looks like on a daily basis.

He was a fearless creative, brilliant musician and great human who made us love, dance and cry all to an immaculate soundtrack. He brought us all together under the universal beat of reggae and dancehall music. Now reunited, I am sure the Rhythm twins are jamming again up in the heavens.

Rest well my friend. by @clennondesign

For us, communicating design is just as important as creating it. Concepts get turned into analysis, and space gets studied in simple white box massing.

As we embark on a new year, we look forward to sharing new ideas with our wonderful clients (old & new).
