Younger me would’ve never believed this 🤍

I used to cut pictures out of Glamour for my scrapbooks. Now I’m on the cover!

Growing up, I didn’t see girls like me on pages like this. I didn’t know my story was one worth telling, and I wasn’t sure there was space for my voice.

But I kept showing up. I kept sharing my story and trusting God with the rest, even when I couldn’t see where it was going.

Now I’m sharing this cover with iconic powerhouses, creatives I admire, and it’s such an honour to stand next to them.

This is more than just a cover. This is bigger than me. It’s about representation, and the stories it holds. It’s a platform to share my voice, and it’s for the generation after me.

It’s for us.🙏🏾

Life With Dove - the short film 🩷

Some seasons, you give it your all and the first thing to go is you. For me it showed up in small ways: no time to breathe, and skin that felt it too.

What helped wasn’t a big overhaul. It was five quiet minutes that were just mine, with Dove Glowing Body Wash leaving my skin soft and smooth. That one small pause changed how the rest of my day felt.

So here’s your reminder to find your five minutes, wherever you can. Your skin and your mind will thank you.

Showing you guys a bit of the process behind one of my Dove campaigns 🤍

I had a vision for this one, but 3D animation isn’t something I can do. So I called in my brother. We bounced ideas back and forth, and he took what was in my head and brought it to life.

This is what it takes behind the scenes. Ideas, trial and error, and the right people helping you get it right. Seeing the final video come together made every round of edits worth it.

My space was feeling flat and I couldn’t figure out why. Nothing was wrong with it, it just didn’t feel like me anymore.

So I took a trip to Pep Home and Woolworths to find pieces that could change the whole mood without costing a fortune.

A coloured girlie from Mitchells Plain ending up on a magazine cover was not on my 2026 bingo card 🤍

I’m all about representation. There weren’t many coloured girls from where I come from on pages like this, so this one is for you. I want you to see that it’s possible.

To my coloured girls, where you’re from is not a limit. It’s your story, and it’s part of why you belong in every room you walk into. I’m carrying my roots with me every step of the way.
