“should’ve been me” is out everywhere now! 🌈

on june 26th, 2015, 11 years ago today, gay marriage was legalized everywhere in the united states.

anyone who’s heard this song in its early stages knows how important it is to me. it’s a sad song to its core, but i like to think of it as a story to encourage you to be yourself. to show you what it can be like if you miss out on love out of fear.

to whoever’s reading this, you are so loved. you are so brave and you have the strength you need. you are human!

thank you to luke for recording, teddy on the drums, lou for producing, and christo and lana for photography. you all mean more than you know!

as always, be you <3
