As if the Garlits Museum wasn't enough - we were graciously given the run of the mind-blowing collection at @npd_nationalpartsdepot

So many exceptional cars, each with a story. It is important to have these points of reference for pristine and unrestored cars. Among the notables - concept cars, the first Fox body Mustang and the last Fox body Mustang, Cobra-Rs and SVTs. A truly special collection. Thank you, Rick, for letting us behind the double doors.

Meet Maria Card’s 1967 @fordmustang Sports Sprint. Restored to stock with original and NOS parts, it’s one of Maria’s favorite cars to drive, alongside her Ford Bronco. In fact, the “Blue Oval” has been there for every milestone in Maria’s life, and now this ‘67 can claim one more — the inaugural Trinitē Rally with fellow car enthusiast Alyssa Eckert as copilot.

Turns out the first 59 years was just the warm up.

I got quite a bit of @triniteroadrally grime off the gold car before the sun prevailed. It will soon be clean enough to put back in the garage... Now just waiting for some shadows so I can finish it up.

Gold car safely home and reunited with Cletus. I am so grateful for having been invited to the inaugural @triniteroadrally. And thankful for @mrsladyeckert, @c6zzgt, @emily_offroad, @chrissiebeavis, @mjrally, @xambulla, @kendi_kzam, @tashafierce_26, @mtnsubi, @salty_on_the_rocks, @thejessicombsfoundation ... So many outstanding people in this community. May our paths cross long before @rebellerally in October!
