@bargaincdsrecordsandtapes is selling everything at 50% off. I hate to see a local business close up in Everett so go check them out and find some treasure! taken in Bargain CDs Records & Tapes by @cletusbojangles

New belts printed and everything works except it doesn't want to pull a tape in. My best guess is this little switch that slides when you push the tape in, but I don't have my multimeter at home to test if it's working properly. taken in Everett, Washington by @cletusbojangles

The 99¢ VCR is fixed!

I had been eyeing this thing at our local St Vincent DePaul's, but wasn't willing to pay $19.99 for a VCR with a tape stuck in it. The other day, all red tags were 99¢ and she was still there!

The original belts for the loading mechanism had turned to black tar. I was able to figure out there were originally 3 separate belts and using some string, figured out their length. The second set of TPU belts was a match!

After loading and unloading by hand a few times it worked! It even had a copy of Casper inside! by @cletusbojangles

Hi Def is cool, but there is something special about the CRT that even my kids pick up on. They tune into a show or movie with much more intent on this screen. by @cletusbojangles

Took some tinkering to get this dual direction VHS tape rewinder to work properly again. Ended up 3D printing a tpu replacement for one of the stretched belts. After lots of fiddling, assembly, disassembly, and shimming it now pops open correctly when it gets to the end. by @cletusbojangles

Got this SNES super cheap because the shell was practically falling apart. Luckily the internals were in excellent shape. Decided to keep some of the original grey and purple parts but swap the power LED to green. by @cletusbojangles
