A look back at one of last year's spooky season shoots. This had to be my favorite shoot of the Halloween season... I mean the sombre weather, a spectacular location + the amazing badass Raven. 🖤
More shoots like this please!

Anyone else getting into the spooky spirit?

Seriously… I'm beyond excited to launch this amazing new project!
Your dog could be the star of a black and white art book, all while helping to support @chiotsnordiques !
I know I'm not the only one who thinks dogs are true works of art on 4 legs. They each have their own presence, their personality and unique way of occupying space. Through black and white, we'll strip the image of everything superfluous to reveal the essential: your dog!
Participating in K9 means:
- enjoying an extraordinary photo experience with your dog
- creating original images
- being part of a collective art project and, as a bonus,
- contributing to a good cause.
Space is limited - for all the information and to apply, click the link in bio
Applications are open from August 19th to 30th.
Because behind every dog lies an icon just waiting to be revealed.

A special shoutout to art director, the amazing @brent.ashe , who brought the visual identity for this project to life. Thank you for elevating the concept, giving it a soul, and making it truly feel like K9. taken in Montreal, Quebec by @clevesque

The results are in!
I am so excited and proud to share the results with all of you.
This year I was a finalist in the action category and got 4 images in the top 100!
Thank you to the @internationalpetphotoawards for creating this amazing space for us to keep pushing to improve our craft. It blows my mind to see how every year the standards go higher and higher. This is such an inspiring showcase of our industry of pet photographers.
Thank you to the judges for your constructive feedback. I really appreciate it and will work hard to get my first gold image next year!
And congratulations to all the winners, finalists and everyone who entered.

(These are my top 10 scoring images)

Happy National Dog Photography Day! 📷
Every session, I get to turn incredible dogs into legends.
What a privilege it is to create iconic images that capture their spirit, their attitude, and everything that makes them unforgettable.
Because dogs deserve more than snapshots. They deserve artwork that lives on.
Thank you to every one of you who has trusted me to capture your dog's wild spirit. 🖤

Oh my gosh you guys… I am speechless. I got the amazing news this morning that I am one of the finalists in the Action category of the most prestigious animal photography contest in the world, The International Pet Photography Awards!! To see my name next to super talented photographers from all around the world is such an honour.
Thank you so much The International Pet Photography Awards and a special thank you to the canine rockstars that made this possible: Jacob, Murphy and Mato.

I’ve been having fun doing the 52Frames weekly photo challenges and I thought I would share some of my favorite images here.
When I signed up I had 2 goals (other than the challenge of taking the one specific photo per week which is intense):
1- Take more photos of my cat Shirow (He was diagnosed with early stages of kidney failure this year so I want to capture more of his daily life, quirks and create with him).
2- Just have fun and create images I might not have created on my own. Use this as an excuse to try new techniques and locations.
I gave myself the extra challenge of creating black and white images which I love but hardly ever do in my pet photography.

Is anyone here doing the challenges? What is your streak? (I am at 23)

Le résultat est tout simplement impressionnant, encore une fois c'est complètement WOW !

Khalac the 11 year old cancer survivor posing like a rockstar for his new album launch. 😎

In your opinion was this photoshoot in Montreal or Scotland?

I just love finding unusual settings for my canine sessions. And I have a few more to show you!

Congratulations to the winner and finalists for Best in Class for Animal Portrait. 🏆

“Portraits of domestic or captive animals, or animals in rehabilitation, photographed in a location of the maker’s choosing, i.e., studio, barn, corral, etc., while using a unique perspective to invoke interest and showcase the animal. No animal may be harmed, baited or otherwise compromised in the creation of the
photograph. Wild animals in their natural habitat are not allowed in this class.”

Huge thanks to @tamronamericas for sponsoring not just the trophy in this class, but also an awesome 28-75mm f2.8 lens for mirrorless for the lucky winner!
