A massive thank you to everyone who made yesterday’s Cley Harbour such a success! We got dressed up, ate and drank well, sung and danced well, canoed badly and generally had a whale of a time. Thanks also to our sponsors @neilthompsonboatsnorthnorfolk and @thenorfolkworkshop and to everyone else who helped make it happen - dozens of our friends and supporters who turned out to help set up, run and break down; you were amazing and we couldn’t have done it without you. Finally THANK YOU to all those who ignored the forecast and came along determined to have a good time - we hope you enjoyed it as much as we did! by @cleyharbour

Preparations are well underway for Cley Harbour Day, Saturday 5-10pm. We’re going to have fun, even if it rains, so bring some wet weather gear with you! We’ll have a bar, hot dogs, posh burgers and vegan chilli bowls, but no hot drinks (this is where our brilliant Cley Harbour mini flasks come in handy)! If you’re coming along, please park in the Village Hall car park, NR25 7RJ. Can’t wait for tomorrow! 🍺 🌭 🍔 🍷 🎶 🕺 🚤 🏴‍☠️ 🎉 by @cleyharbour

Preparations are well underway for this year’s Cley Harbour Day (5-10pm on Saturday) and we just wanted to say a massive thank you to our two main sponsors - @thenorfolkworkshop and @neilthompsonboatsnorthnorfolk . Both of these local businesses offer the very best in their respective fields and are definitely worth contacting if you need a new kitchen or a new boat. Thanks to them, some of our overheads are covered, which is fantastic. Looking forward to Saturday!! by @cleyharbour

Did you know we have a fabulous Summer raffle, with the winning tickets being drawn on Cley Harbour Day? Big shout out to our top prize donors: @theharperhotel, Richard Deane e-bikes, @northnorfolkcellars , @morstonpool and @theduncowsalthouse - thank you all. There’ll be other prizes on the day too. We’ll also be selling our Cley Harbour merch, including our best-selling dishwasher-proof mini flasks - perfect for keeping things hot, cold or just right (including white wine apparently)! We have some fantastic entertainment lined up for this year’s Cley Harbour Day!
We’re delighted to welcome back @the_sheringham_shantymen to get you in the maritime mood and @hotsquashpartyband will be here again to get everyone up and dancing! New for this year is the brilliant “yarnsmith” @davetongestoryteller who will entertain everyone with his clever storytelling. Calling all canoeists and kayakers! If you’re coming along to Cley Harbour Day on 29 August, why not enter a team for our have-a-go canoe racing?! Always great fun and guaranteed to give plenty of entertainment! We’re looking forward to seeing teams from @Finisterre Holt, @elsies_onthequay and The Cley Sea Swimmers. Can you beat them? What a wonderful sight this morning-our friends from the Stiffkey Cockle Club on their annual visit to Cley! We had a great turnout of boats and and the skippers and crews were treated to bacon rolls and coffee on the quay. A perfect morning for one of our highlights of the year. Big thanks to all those who sailed in and to those who came along to welcome them in. by @cleyharbour

We’re very much looking forward to welcoming our friends from the Stiffkey Cockle Club for their annual visit on Sunday 2 August at approximately 9.00am. It’s always an impressive sight to see these beautiful boats lined up on Cley quay. Bacon rolls and tea/coffee available too for £5 (visiting sailors get first dibs)! All welcome - the more the merrier! by @cleyharbour

Come and visit some beautiful gardens in Cley on Saturday 20 and Sunday 21 June!
Gardens will be open between 12 - 5pm both days, with the last ticket being sold at 4pm. Free parking (and loo) at Cley Village Hall NR25 7RJ, purchase your tickets and maps here too (£5, kids go free).
Cley has three pubs and a fabulous deli, so there are plenty of opportunities to grab refreshments on your way round!
Proceeds are being shared between us (Cley Harbour) and @thenorthnorfolkwheelyboat - thank you to all of those taking part and everyone supporting the event. by @cleyharbour
