THE BOX MAN | Inspired by the novel by Kobo Abe, our film tells the story of The Photographer, an isolated peeping Tom whose life is forever changed after he discovers that he’s being closely monitored by a mysterious man in a cardboard box.

// Premiere // "This intersection of myth, history, and contemporary violence compelled me to develop the film as an allegory, a tale of sacred heritage corrupted by greed."

@mateomartinez90 dives into the exquisitely lush and detailed backbone of his proof of concept short 'Cacique del Monte' where pursued by one of the most dangerous Zars in the emerald trade after looting and desecrating sacred lands, a guacero is overtaken by the literal, historical and mythical power of Colombia's emeralds.

Throughout the past year, we’ve dedicated ourselves to crafting ‘Cacique del Monte,’ a profound narrative deeply rooted in Colombia’s captivating culture, history and mythology.
This is a story that has been rarely told but holds immense cultural significance.
We’re excited to announce that the official trailer is finally arriving next Friday.
